Hello Everyone!

I'm fairly new to this forum and happened to stumble upon this blog section which made me think: What better way to introduce myself here than through a series of blog posts?

I hope this won't bore you too much as I'll try to make it as entertaining as possible. Wish me luck >.<

Ever since I was just a little girl, I always had this fond fascination for colors. Be it those rainbow wax pieces you can use to scribble on paper or the colorful blocks that snap together to make creative buildings and creatures, anything that was colorful enraptured my attention.

Fast forward a few years and the same thing happens now. Colors still fascinate me. But when I think about it, what exactly is it about colors that makes my eyes sparkle? What is it that makes color such a marvelous sight for our eyes?

If I asked you: What if the world was no longer colorful?
How would you feel? What would you say?

To me, color is an intangible sense that simply cannot be defined. If I asked you to describe the color blue to a blind person, could you do it?

Color may be too hard to express in words, but it can express so much in what we see. Color is the bridge that connects us to feelings. That may sound too crazy for some but I will elaborate.

When looking at the color red, what feelings do you think of? Anger? Love? Maybe something else!

Expressing emotion is what color does best. Color conveys so much feeling that even I cannot explain it entirely because even I do not understand it entirely.

And so, when I ask myself why color amazes me, I don't know how to express it in words. That's why I pick up my pens, and I express it in color instead.

Thanks for reading <3

( ̄▽ ̄)☕ Welcome, again! Good to have here!

I have to agree; I'm not a artist, but I've thought about this same subject in depth quite a few times. Its a interesting concept.
