I was planning to write this blog yesterday. But things got busy around me.
So I'm writing this only today.

After I joined NUF, I soon got introduced to another commiunity. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed. But gradually, I got adapted to the atmosphere. In the span of one month's time I met many people, had many conversations, witnessed many arguments, experienced many awkward and funny moments. And now, I feel quite familiar with it all. I may not know everyone there but I found some friends and I feel quite content with it.

I decided to write a blog because an event that occured yesterday. The day was made special, by faces, and many many different faces. Face of someone is not just another image. Face of a person is not just either beautiful or ugly, it also isn't just a result of a bunddle of genes evolved to flesh and bones either. Face, is something that is a bit more complicated. Face is not just about flesh beauty, much more than that. Our faces are what identities us, it has many vivid things engraved in it. Many experiences, many losses, many gains, love and hate. It could even give a glimpse of life of a person, but only if you choose to observe closely enough.

The faces I saw yesterday... Honestly, they look different. Different as in, differing from what I imagined them to be, varying in looks. Some were close but still different. But strangely though, seeing those faces didn't pose any real issues to my imaginations. Actually, I could say they are still the same.
As someone grew up with a quite the beautiful sibling, (and yes, I'm very biased and proud when it comes to my sister lol, but now I'm only talking the outer appearances), I haven't even really considered myself just the avarage or slightly above avarage. According to my awfully biased aesthetic senses, there were many beautiful, cute, adorable and also somewhat normal faces I saw there. But none that I would say ugly. Please don't misunderstand when I say this, I might flatter people sometimes but I'm being blunt and truthful right now. I didn't see anyone I could say unappealing nor unattractive. Anyone could say I'm being biased right now, and yes, maybe I am. But I still say the same in my opinion. And this opinion was made up of the whole time I spent with them, getting to know them, having fights and arguments with them, having fun and laughing with them. It may have been one single month, I may only know so very little about them and there'll be much more to know in future but as of now, my opinions are as mentioned above.

This made me ponder about these values again. According to my understanding, a face can't be judged by aesthetic values. I'm not sure how to explain this clearly. But for me, even the most avarage can out-class the most beautiful, in how much kindness their smile could muster.
These so called looks in the face of real beauty, is just like that beautiful paper covering that's used to wrap a simple piece of empty cardboard. And it will always fade away with time. It always change, while real beauty always stay the same. Real beauty is not the looks what we see on the outside, but a bundle of many qualities we honed in our lifetimes, either good or bad.

But I know, no matter how much I say this, this world is more harsher than simple string of words can make it out to be, and it would sometimes judge you according to your looks not your real face. But as I believe, an entire life won't depend on that instance. It may, if the person were to be an actor or model but even for them, skill and personality can make up to out-shine just simple pretty looks.

No one can say life would be so easy if I was more beautiful. I've been there, but thinking back, I was so very stupid at that point of time. Our faces are made up many things in addition to our looks (looks, as in outer beauty), and it is just one of the many. As such, those faces may identify us, it may tell a piece of our tale but just a face can never define a whole person. Faces are important, but that's not all there is to know. As I already mentioned before, face is not just an image and a person is not just a face either.

This is what I feel now, my thoughts can change with time and experience as
I am still getting to know many people and faces. I will in the future as well. :blobsmilehappyeyes:

PS. My sincerest gratitude to everyone at Azkaban, I had a great time with you. Hope we will have much more of those great times in future too. Thank you all. Love you~ <3:blobxd::blobxd::blobxd:

well sometimes we always remember what they say.. don't judge the book by its cover.. but sadly people only want to look at the cover so they can move on to another book to judge..
