Outside the Box - #3 - Knowledge is Power

I've been really into Isekai style novels recently, and it got me thinking, "If I got thrown into that kind of situation, what cheat would I want?"
People tend to think some kind of magic or system, but personally, the thing I'd want above any of that, is Knowledge. Not just information, but also the ability to implement and use that information.
Knowledge is Power, and it always has been. The thing that has toppled Kings and Kingdoms since the beginning of time, is Knowledge. When God asked Solomon what he wanted, he could have (literally) asked for anything in the world, but he choose Wisdom. He recognized the value of Knowing and the potential it represented.
Throughout the ages, every single "Great Ruler" has recognize the value of controlling information. For Good, or Bad.

But, It seems now these days, people have forgotten the value of Knowledge. You don't need to look further than your own Cellphone or Computer to understand this.
When you pick up your phone, do you not understand the significance of the object you are holding? It is a device that not only lets you connect with anyone in the world at any time, but allows you to access the collective history, knowledge and understanding of all of Mankind in an instance!
A common farmer boy in Alabama who has never even SEEN a plane up close, could, if he had the determination, build a working rocket with just the information he can find on his Cellphone.

So. what have you done with yours today? how have you expanded your horizon today? how deep have you dipped your hand into the bottomless pit of knowledge you hold?
