I decide to make this "tutorial" to make people understand the concept of various numbers within a rpg. I'm not a game developer but I like play rpg at hardest difficulty and you need a quite amount of understanding about rpg to survive. Every entry will have various length base of how much I feel I need talk about it. The first entry is a easy one but it very important

Damage and HP:
What is damage? It's how much you hurt your enemy? Quite vague.
You deal 9 damage. What 9 damage mean? Nothing.
The concept of damage need the concept of hp.
Your enemy have 18 hp. You deal 9 damage. Your enemy is half death.
Now it make much more sense.

Then what is HP? It's amount of damage one can take before KO.
You need to know how much hit you can take and how many attacks you need to kill your enemy.
By the amount of attack you need to kill a enemy, you can see how much hit remain before you KO.
Developing a game, you decide how many attack one monster can do before dying. This number is quite important cause it determinated how far the player can go before retreat. You balance the monsters around the player.
Low hp monster usually have very high attack while high hp have usually very low attack.

If you have any question, feel free to ask. I will ignore question too dumb.

Does that mean I should get mp up? or that I don't drain mp very fast?

Ah, guess I should have put my other points into ice formula rather than volt formula. Oh well. I think there is a point (though very late in the game) that you can reclassify your points. It comes in handy when you get to postgame

@jmf028 <.< The two strongest random encounter monsters don't have elemental weaknesses. One of them is resistant to ice. One of two foe of second floor are weak to ice <.<

Question 1: What element would benefit JayEmEff the most to have at the current floor level?
