I would ask which Zombie army that was swarming the city.. There has been a few of those. The series is still alright but its a lot of rinse and repeat. Seem to do the following: MC goes to a new area Finds a group and takes over their current leader to become the new overlord Starts building the tribe up Zombie/monster army works on wiping tribe out MC defeats the army and keeps powering up Somehow gets lost/transported/travels to a new area and starts over Somewhere in there is always adding new members to his Harlem that gets forgotten when he moves to the next area.
He hasn't yet. Instead he has created a new main group with a brand new harem. Originally he got lost (like in a different state than he started in) then found that the way back was impassable due to another zombie hoard. He got mixed in with a traveling group that got attacked by bandits. Decided to kill off all the bandits (but failed to kill the Enhancer bandit boss that is tougher than Yue Zhang) and claimed the bandit citizens as his people. Just go back from an armory with tanks (decided not to use the attack helicopters). Mostly rinse and repeat with slightly different events. My main problem is that Yue Zhong has really become a hard ass when is not around his original friends. Personally, I would like to see one chapter from the point of view of the original characters. Current chapter was a fan service chapter if that floats your boat. Even Yue Zhong was impressed with himself.
Dropped this a while back maybe it hasn't been that long chapterwise because the guy who picked it up is a bit slow no offence intended to them I'm sure they have a life outside of TL'ing (**All Tl's are nothing but slaves to the readers whims muahahahaha) but anyways it was right after the general or politician guy who controlled the big city place ran out and MC became new boss of the city I think, so my thoughts until then where it was good and I anticipated every chapter until I dropped it and thought back to what I've read and realize that this is in fact a steaming pile of shit. I was just super caught up in the games style/theme because I'm a sucker for those gamelike themes where everything is like a normal novel but there is a leveling system and monsters drop items, that stuff just fills me with delight for some obscure reason (**I'm a big RPG fan not really all that obscure) but anyways has anything interesting occurred since?
When i read this novel i just couldn't remember the names of the people he was with. I couldn't even remember his 2nd in command/best friend. Seriously, there are too many names introduced shortly after each other, also giving names to people who disapears shortly after doesn't help... I saw potential in the RPG system in the start, but it's just really boring and feel incredibly slow, it could easily be more diverse while still offering awesome abilities.
The number and names of characters are a problem in this novel. Especially since he keeps referring to people that don't have a lot of screen time. Refer to my post right above your for stuff that occurred after you dropped the novel. Basically, MC became city lord and while on a trip to rob another military base, he was separated from his troops. His initial goal was to meet back up with everyone but instead became leader of another survivor camp (with another dozen plus [and counting] characters to remember). Now the big thing is people can also evolve (what was originally called evolvers or people that gain levels from the game system is now called enhancers) and gain massive increases to set stats. The first official evolver was the little girl MC saved from some canibals before taking over the town he moved his original survivor group to. Other than that, still the same stuff including underage girls looking for ways to give their virginity to the MC.
Basically, except this time MC is acting more like a militaristic general rather than savior of the survivors. Also, the opponents are more evolvers that are individually stronger than MC, which places the MC on the defensive side of things instead of offensive like with his original group.
So the original survivor group finally met back up with MC. Finally going to train people to operate the tanks and other heavy weapons. Also, Samurai girl forced a confession out of MC (She pulled all the stops and went for the kill) . This is definitely going in the right direction.
I'm glad they reunited since I didn't want the QY County group to be forgotten just like that. That confession came out of nowhere it caught me off guard. I had to read it twice ha ha. I'm really excited for the next chapters since YZ can have the QY County experts and soldiers train the NG County battalions. Now, they can't be easily pressured by the army anymore.
For me, the confession was just a matter of time after the Rat King mission. The MC only truly trusts two people which is his best friend and her. The MC's current wife (that she self proclaimed) is only held in high regard because she shows no fear and is an evolver. However, MC doesn't ever place her in a situation where she would have save the his life (now holding down the line or be in charge of the rear yes, but not his life). The samurai girl has only held it in because of her best friend/master (whom is in charge of the government in QY County) whom also had the hots for the MC. However, once the samurai girl officially decided to come back to the MC's army, it was just a matter of time. I guess the thought of the MC dying make all her feelings crystal clear. The whole thing of dumping him if the MC tossed away the other women in his life was a test to see if the MC is still the same type of guy that kept his promises like in the beginning of the novel where she became interested in the MC (at least that is my opinion).
can someone tell me some the top events that will happen in the story which can weigh on my conscience. I finished reading "household affairs" and "seduction" on yomanga so I totally don't wanna read NTR.
NTR has always and will always be a sore spot for me. I dislike NTR to an insane level and If a novel has it, the MC better get back at her within 10 chapters and get a better waifu in that period otherwise I will drop it. That is just how I feel it's not as if I was betrayed by my girlfriend that I feel that way .... jk but seriously leaving your boyfriend/girlfriend for someone else without telling them and then rubbing it in their face is not cool (novels, with NTR, love to add the drama of the girl always turning out to be a bitc... Bad girl at the end)
i just got to 60 something her girlfriend len wu? the highschool girl at the start, is she still alive and not raped? as well as the strong swordswoman at the start?
As of the current translations, none of the girls associated with the MC have been raped or stolen by enemies. There have been close attempts but the deed is never accomplished. In fact Spoiler: Current Translated Chapters About a 100 chapters ago, the MC is separated from the main group. On his way back, MC picks up mother and daughter (he doesn't do anything to the daughter) and saves another high school from being raped and creates a new harem (with a few other non-combat females). The mother instantly calls MC her husband (whom neither confirms or denies this status). The high school girl becomes like the mayor's daughter (i.e. almost stupidly loyal) in the original group but actually is able to sleep with the MC. The last few chapters shows the original group connecting with the new group. During this time, the swordwomen joins up with the new group and forces the MC to confess to her (once she throw off her loyalty to her best friend, she became very sexually aggressive towards the MC). Now the main harem/party is swordwomen, wife, and other high school girl with the swordwomen being the main girl (wife is jealous and high school girl is just stupidly loyal to MC). The original high school girl that the MC tutored is still in the original group's area and treated as a mistress with no skills (since she does not have combat skills that help her level). Thus she has not been mentioned in over 100 chapters, but is assumed to be safe.
