    Perfect World.
Best protagonist with good dose of comedy, and the best world building I have seen.

Author's other works are good as well but sadly their translations is far behind. 'Shrouding the Heavens' is the only Chinese novel I have read which has done the "transmigration to another world" trope well. MC acts like a ordinary human and misses his world. He also doesn't instantly adapts himself. So definitely recommended if you can mtl it.

To Be A Virtuous Wife , the first few chapters can be harsh for newcomers due to the amount of untranslated Chinese title, but the translator give footnotes/glossaries. Story wise, it is perfect 10/10, bonus point for being completely translated.

(ps : this is what get me into reading Chinese novel)

Although seriously, those chinese authors need to at least do some basic research about western society.
JRR usage of "british names" was completely off and the british culture she tried to present was practically insulting.

True Martial World is a must read for me. My first cn/jap novel i've ever read was Stellar Transformation so I have some sentiment to that one as well...

Start off with a dual series. Start with coiling Dragon and then read Stellar Transformations. Both complete and both great reads.

Steller transformation and coiling dragon's are almost the same (same author, and he recycled a lot of the plot).
Also, steller transformation is just bad, the author lacked experience and made a lot more mistakes and the writing was much poorer.

I would personally suggest starting from coiling dragon and never bothering with steller transformation.

Coiling Dragon, Child of Light, etc (basically any novel by Tang Jia San Shao) for beginners into the genre of webnovels in general.

ISSTH, World of Cultivation, or Way of Choices for deeper stories after they finish babies' first novels.

Perfect World and Long Live Summons for fun and enjoyment.

Desolate Era, Martial World, and all that other repetitive stuff for the long haul, this will be your bread and butter for daily reading.

    Have fun and keep reading.

As someone who prolifically and vehemently advocates the greatness of Asian novels. This is now one of the novels I recommend to Canadians. As it has a semblance to both Chinese and Japanese culture (Of course it does, it's a Korean novel.)

Have I posted here already? Well, it doesn't matter.

I highly recommend Mother of Learning.

It's about a boy who got stuck in a time-loop. Don't wanna spoil it.

Rakuin no Monshou. Again for the nth time.
