It feels weird honestly, before I had bookmarked tabs on novel sites like Bluesilver, refreshing once every day, this was back when Bagelson updated more frequently so there was at least one chapter a day or so. Its hard to believe that I read Coiling Dragon one year ago too. The main reason I was able to find NU was due to a comment on DE which I read after CD, since then I've been using NU.
Am I getting old or is anime not as exciting as it used to be? I don't feel like watching even 1/10th of the stuff that is out right now
Anime quality is in decline.. BUT, there are plenty of new people comming all the time, so they can still get money for that low effort same history change characters, repeat every season..

@Tramsloof Actually I probably won't include the rape and just imply it, maybe he could see the aftermath afterwards. As for killing the males, the monsters in question have absolutely no use for male humans. But now that I wrote all this the story does sound a little boring so I'll probably scrap it, thanks for your input though!
No no don't censor yourself, if you want to write a story with rape then do it. I hate censorship the most. And it doesn't sound that bad, the issue isn't the story but how good you can write. That's the only important thing, doesn't matter how good the car is if you can't drive get it? So if you are really serious about writing then post a oneshot somewhere.
@Exterial Its not that, its just that I often come up with novel ideas I find interesting but once I type it/write down on paper I can see the flaws with it, on top of the fact that I need to have the motivation to continue it. I might write down a one shot and see where that goes and thanks for telling me your thoughts about this.

Ah so its immersive/relatable, k then. I was asking cause every story idea I tend to create end up becoming isekai/transmigration/reincarnation and I thought it was stale/bland story telling, as though I was giving up on creating a setting and choosing the lazy way out.
well is equally lazy almost all the starts of novels, guy that can't cultivate make a comeback, or born into the house of X Duke, are all the same, the difference is just like you didn't born into the duke's house, neither in that medieval time, so you just have to assume what if you were, while isekai is like you yourself going there, and isekai novels are a bit lazzy, but sometimes that make them more solid too
because while most of us readers tend to ignore those mistakes, but MCs that were born in a medieval setting no isekai but use words that we didn't start using till 50 years or so, or did the ,.I.. thing are countless out there for no reason.. you can do that in an isekai
