she is unrelated to Wang Lin... original wang lin should be with li muwan in the world beyond the Mountain and Sea plane, immortal god world and the devil continent... Spoiler because if she was li muwan, Wang Lin (slaughter clone) wouldnt have allowed her to be killed/die during the war with the 33 heavens
Then Slaughter is Wang Lin's clone, the one that cultivates normally and is not following the path of an ancient god. And he has a seperate relationship with Paragon Sea Dream?

Uh from the line from ISSTH that he loves Sea Dream, but he focused so much on cultivation that he ignored his feelings for her. So much so that Sea Dream gave up on him.
It was towards Li muwan, Spoiler he fell in love with her although he was just a clone that the main body sent on a mission but during the mission fell in love with her himself... but because he was the clone she would be unable to stay with him and would choose the main body...

There is very little of a connection... if you read the notes that deathblade makes then you will know what the connection is around chapter 1000 to 1200 somewhere between them...
You can read anyone of them without worry, they have no connection whatsoever requiring prior knowledge from other book that will affect reading fun .. At most u will not be able to link two stories, which imo is not even necessary since u r yet to read other one ..

Wang lin in the end fused both his clone and his main body at the end of Xian ni forever. The one that appears in issth is'just one of the many clones that he had made.
