It was my favorite anime/light novel once. I now absolutely hate it because there is absolutely no progression. We keep seeing their character develop, develop and develop more but no one has the balls to say they love the other party for fucks sake. They are like elementary school students maybe even worse. At this point I don't care if this goes for harem/polygamy/ tragedy ending with everyone else except for one girl dying(don't even care which girl tbh, make it Komachi and go for incest for all I care) but author should man up and let us see some development in any area other than character personalities. edit: and yes, Iroha is the best girl for sure

Don't get why you are so mad This novel is good because they don't rush things and tends to be more realistic than most novels out there And the MC has a very bad experience with women in general while the female lead is really new in the area To me, the character development is excellent really and the author clearly showed in volume 11 that the end of the series is near and all that build up will pay off If you want a quick romance I suggest you read shoujo( relationships happen early) or a chinese novel( where MC gets together with many girls)

I am not mad andI don't understand if you didn't read my comment completely or if you just understood what is convenient for you and ignored the rest. I clearly said that character development is great in this novel. He started getting involved with girls at the start of the highschool and how old is he right now? its been like 2 years since all this shit started, maybe even more, didn't read the last 1-2 volumes and he is still the same, and the girls are the same too. Not in their personalities no, their personalities changed a lot, but they are still a p***y when it comes to the matters with opposite sex. I can't even imagine how someone can be so awkward with opposite sex when they've gone through so much together. He was much better at the start in my opinion. He didn't just forget how to speak when a girl did something cute. He was like, meh it's not for me that she is acting like this anyway so why would I act like a harem light novel protagonist. But after a while he turned exactly into that, another classic harem light novel protagonist. And what do you mean don't rush? So many books and you still call it rushing? This novel would have been fine even if it ended at 6 books let alone this many. We all know how things turn out when authors keep going with their novels without minding how long it is from all the chinese novels and certain japanese and korean ones too. It NEVER turns out well. No matter how good of a novel it is, it will always lose at least 1 out of 3-4 fans(fans, not readers) of it when it doesn't end at a certain point.
