((I was thinking of going somewhere near the gate and hearing the guards make a ruckus))

"hmmm.....you are girl right?"
One of the guards asked an innocent question.

 

A vein appears on my head
"Im a boy!!!" - Kynn
"~~ ~£ ~¥" - H
"Am i really that girly?" -Kynn

While somehow stopping myself from hitting that guard with seriously innocent smile, i answered angryly

 

(( Hai hai! ))

"Where is there Ice Cream though... I don't know your kingdoms' layout!" >.<
"You have been here for a few days, but you still can't even find an ice cream store...?"
"Sorry for not paying attention to those details!!!"
"Sorry sorry, I didn't mean to harm... At any case, there is one near the gate, we can eat some there."
"Oh, I see! Fluffy-chan is really smart! Should we go there then Jibby-chan!?"

 

".......sure miss....."

"Okay then let's buy some ice cream!"
"Look it's the ice cream store."

The ice cream store was a bit hidden from plane sight because of the buildings nearby it so the 4 of then headed over.

 

"Aahh!!!! Damnit!! [Agility Up] [Speed Up] [Evasion Up] [Presence Down] " - Kynn

As i shout, i invoked some spells and jumped inside the gate, entering the city...

"~! ~! ~!" - H

H tried to stop me but seeing that im already far, he just shakes his head while holding it...

"Ill find her herself!!" - Kynn

I said towards the guards who were somewhat delaying me...

... You have invisibility spells...? Among others? Uhn... Okay then...

"Ice Cream Ice Cream!"

*sits down and starts munching on it happily*

Hm? Something is strange inside of my shrine. More specifically, the blood pools I use to store life at its bottom. Making sure to have my weapons with me, I head towards them, carefully descending the stairs.

After a few minutes, I reach the entrance to the pools. The doors are still closed, nothing came in from the outside. But there is something inside of there. And while I have some kind of connection to it, I cannot make out what it is, or completely control it.

Armed with my Guandao, I push open the door. Inside, there is an abomination of life, completely made up of blood.

It doesn't attack me and seems to fear me instead. But to me, it seems tasty. It is made completely out of blood after all. It seems like it was created due to the high concentration of life in here.

I chop at it a few times and let my Guandao absorb huge chunks of its blood until it bursts, leaving behind only stains of blood and a small, red crystal. Curious, I pick it up and immediately feel a great amount of life stored within it. A blood crystal? It seems really... tasty... before I notice what I am doing, I already crushed the crystal between my teeth and savor the taste and energy. This is a delicacy. Perhaps I should create a farm of it. No, I really should.

OOC: I wonder if this counts as eating oneself?

 

OOC: caniballism?

 

OOC: No, the blood golem was created by the blood of me that I store in the depths of my shrine. So I just ate my own blood.

 

OOC: still cannibalism sice you still ate something from your body... Vampirism is also the same thom.. for me tho...

 

OOC: I see, yeah. I didn't think about it that way. Thanks.

 

OOC: dont mind it~ *hugs*

 

OOC: If someone did something for me, I should thank that person.

 

OOC: dont think too deeply on that part~ *hugs tightly*

 

OOC: *pats* I'm not, I just feel like it is the right thing to do.

 

I leave my shrine while humming. I've successfully created a farm with a reliable yield, and now have a snack to carry around with me all the time. The fact that they restore energy and heal me is secondary, they just taste really good.

And the demons have begun to grasp the basics of controlling their own life, and slowly are getting used to the basic movements of unarmed combat. If more refugees were to arrive, I could use them as teachers for the newcomers. Only if they want to, though. I promised to take care of their basic needs and protect them for free after all.

Right, I should practice more. There isn't much missing until I understand a crucial fact about life, but there seems to be some kind of barrier that prevents me from understanding it. Metaphorically speaking, that is. Perhaps something I consider normal isn't? That could prevent me from understanding it...

 

"Ah miss I wouldn't do that I were you..."

The guards tried to stop because there was a barrier surrounding the entire city. And anyone who touches that without proper procedures will get electrocuted.

The 4 of them happly munch on ice cream before..

"Hmmm?"

"What's wrong jibs?"

"I feel like someone just tried to cross my barrier."

"We should check out thr gate and see what's up!"
