Too true~ sometimes we don't think of the obvious things and write about objects/situations that are more closer to us. Interacting with other people gives us a chance to try out something new. ehehehe well I have to gain inspiration from something, I am hopeless at pulling something out of thin air. *pats her on the head* Just in case it wasn't clear enough
Ayee~ Sometimes we focus too much in a kind of theme~ And end up not only doing Poems in that field~ >w< Yes~ the new chances are nice~ And coupled with viewing how each person write about said subject~ Is really interesting~ *Pat pat* Hahaha~ Pulling things from the air is hard~ XD But thinking of a scene and them taking a theme out of it~ Is really interesting~ *Enjoys* Hahaha~ Ayee~ It sure was understood~ *GIGGLES*
dumping my instant poem Spoiler: from discord those twinkling stars beyond our reach beautiful as each how i want to put them in jars one peach so sweet takes you to grit grit to get it? no, you grit to eat a simple answer to your question and it bangs louder because it's a poison a walk so peaceful goes to the mountain it roughs so tearful out of my pain

Theme: Freedom Perception of the individual Wanting to be able to do more, Than just simple tricks. Constrained by expectations, Due to her gift. Looking out the window, To those below. Their happiness was her all, As she watched the show. Those four rectangles of wood, Encased the world. The hills looked inviting, As they twirled. Clouds so soft, Covering the sun. Rain falls down, Halting their fun. Pressing against the glass, For one last glimpse. Fog obstructs her view, Unforgiving. Looking at the door, Longingly. Perhaps she could, Perhaps she would. Leave these four walls, Just for a moment. One small break, Was all she would take. Turning the knob, With shaking hands. Wanting to find, Someone who understands. Stepping out into the yard, The scent of orange blossoms fill her with ease. Running out under the rain, Happy and free. Tripping and falling, Running and tumbling. So filled with life, Away from strife. She did not know, The shackles within. Were nothing but, Her own doing.
Basking under the sun Breathing in the chill air Walking along the pavement Skipping my steps lightly Humming a random tune Ridding myself of thoughts Letting any chains go Enjoying the moment as it is Living life weightlessly Looking almost like flying Freeing myself to spend the days Smiling at each passing moment
Flying in the blue sky Riding along the genlte wind Ever seeking the pleasure of freedom Even in the harsh storms Does it never give up Over and over again May the eagle see over the great sky
In my youth, I was imprisoned. Studies and expectations, Burders over my shoulders. Rules and duties, Binding me in a endless cycle. As I grew up, I became wild and unwinding. Nothing could bind me, As I roomed aimlessly. Following no rules, Doing only as I wished. When I became old, I looked past and saw. A young who carried the expectations of many, Silently drowning in her burdens, Till she rebelled against all. I saw a person who lives a ruleless life, Aimlessly and without reason letting nothing for others, Living in constant fear of being held back fleeing from any responsibilities. And then I understood. What binded me, Wasn't the responsibilities, Nor the expectations from others, It was my own expectations. I understood, What I had always seek, Wasn't be able to travel to where I wished, Nor being free of rules or responsibilities, It was having a clean mind. Lastly I understood, It's not others that binds and imprison us, But our own mind. And only by accepting ourselves, Only by liberating our own hearts, We can truly reach freedom.
Playing with Poems Second Theme: A challenge for those who want to do it. Themed poems to enjoy and share, among those who dare: In the world where new technologies rise, making it more connected, Where information can travel around the planet in an instant. The Distances between places shrink, And yet we are all so far apart from each other. Our families and friends go to far away places, And while we can talk and even see them, We are unable to touch them unable to feel their warmth. Therefore The second group theme will be [Distance] General Rules for Housekeeping:1 - Remembering that all the previous Themes are still up for anyone who wishes to participate, we are only going to add more themes. 2 - Please remember to tag the post of the theme you are writing, and also mention it on the post. 3 - Remember to have lots of fun~ Themes up to date: "Freedom" by BlancFrost ❅ "Distance" by Bielt ♡ Calling those who have shared poems with us, just a small challenge nothing big. Theme: [Distance] [Faraway] Since the first day I met you, I knew that you were different. We played we laughed and talked, Getting to know each other better. And without me noticing, I started to like you... To love you. An impossible love I know, Something that may never bear fruits. But there isn't even a day on which, I don't think about what we could be, If only the distance between us wasn't so big, Maybe we could meet.
Theme: Distance What is the point of traveling, When it is not to reach you? Taking the train has no meaning, When no stop is yours. Looking out the window, Watching the landscape pass by. Endless sand, Endless land, Boundless with time.
Theme: Freedom Liberated from the despair you inflict, No longer set on the path that you picked. From now on I will travel alone, Seeking the destination that’s still unknown. Uncaged, unchained and unbound, The freedom of choice is so profound. The journey forwards is a lonesome endeavour, But still my heart I will miss you forever.
Theme: Distance “Chasing Autumn” To know is to hurt and to feel is to cry. Time can’t divert the tears from goodbyes. Ignorance is bliss, the privilege of the young. Laughing at the abyss are the fledglings whom yet to be stung. Their passion overflowing, their destination unknown. Forwards she kept going, never a moment postponed. Hand-in-hand she led, joys and sorrows they shared. He smiled ahead, his soul lay bared. The wedding bells sung, and not a moment too soon. The setting sun hung over the celebratory tunes. In sickness and in health, they vowed, “We do”. Regardless of wealth, their hearts stayed true. His emotions awry, she wipes his tears. Her ending is nigh, the moment he fears. Severely ill, she falls into his embrace. Her body chills and he holds her in place. She posed, “Have you, do you, will you regret?” Her complexion blue, he asked, “Did you forget?” Like Romeo, he fell in love at first sight. Standing below, her glare gave him a fright. With desires to pursue he sung her a ballad. Rejecting his cue, her face turned pallid. She cried that she would bring him nothing but sadness. Mystified, he countered that she had brought him nothing but gladness. All night they contended, no thoughts were spared. It only ended when he forcefully declared, “Give me a year and I’ll make you love me!” She gave him a sneer and the word “Dummy.” After three months of pursuit, she gave in to dread. “You stupid brute, by next autumn I’ll be dead!” He stood before her resolute, “Let me accompany you”, he repeated again. Now enclosed in his suit, they have been together since then. In silence she slept, her final moments peaceful. The winds wept whilst he remained wistful. “To you my Juliet, our times I have hold dear.” “No need to fret, my love for you is sincere…”
Theme: Freedom To speak... Of everything that come in your mind Be it good or bad, harsh or kind To pour out your thought or just to whine When you walk, drive, or dine You have a choice... Yet....why you choose that!? To make someone have nothing but sorrow To make them timid, afraid to grow Convincing them that they are very low That they have no chance, now or tomorrow Why you say it like that!? To give their heart constant aching! As if they are absolutely nothing! That they are not worth mentioning! Not more than trash to fling! You have a lot of choice.... To speak... So please be careful of your word As they are sharper than sword They can hurt, injure, or even kill Even if you have no ill will You have a choice.... [P.S.: Well....not just exact and pure freedom. Don't mind me. I'm rambling...as usual. Hahahaha~!]
Theme: Distance ...I hate this.... I heard your wound as you were hurt I read your cry as you were injured But I can't do anything Only heard and read ...I hate this.... I can only send you word At most, picture or images Yet they are fruitless I sincerely hope that they're not useless ...I hate this.... I want to be beside you Lending my shoulder while you grieve But, alas, I can't do that Not with the land and sea between us ...I hate this.... This space between us This gap between us ....I hate this....
*hands him some water* Well it was a better way than slamming doors or announcing a sleep schedule huhu I liked reading the poems too! You were both a good influence, isn't that great.
Such a sweet little sis. Thanks for the water. And I wonder if I should slam open doors or other such things.....
*beams at him* Why? To announce your presence? Slamming doors is fun, you should try it some time! I haven't done it in a while, been writing poems instead...
