tips on navigating in fanfiction novel sites

    i was recommended some fanfiction novel sites a few days ago and when i tried some of them i found it hard to obtain my desired results (ex wattpad) can anyone suggest to me some methods to optain specific results in such sites( i am an idiot when it comes to computers and such so please go easy on me)

    Most provide filters

    There's also an app called Codex Reader. Play with it and you'll figure it out.

    And for the wattpad app just search certain words and it'll give you something. Ex: Search revenge and it'll say Refine By at the top. And next to that it has a bunch of #. The story you are searching for usually has a common title. In such cases, please try refining your search using tags to narrow down the results or searching for the author’s username instead which will bring up all stories they have written.

    I just use filters they are super useful.

    i created this thread precisely because i am not able to use filters effeiciently or they dont exist in specific sites

    Find a tutorial on how to use a search engine, like Google or DuckDuckGo.com

    1. use a search engine, 2. put the name of the site, accurately, 3. what your looking for on that site and hit enter.

    Some sites wont let you do it that way, but it is worth a try.

    threads or navigate the groups on fanfiction.net usually people put their reading lists on there... or filter alot of stuff out ...
    like i wanted to read Dark/overpowered Harry potter
    stories on there, you can sort by the amount of stories they have in the groups
    the filters really work well and knowing how they word the preview really help...
