Yeah, this arc is pretty fun overall! Lots of different things happening. ^-^ I think of it as starting to expand into the world. Then the next arc brings us a little back into in-depth histories for certain characters. And then the next arc after that delves into how those histories connect to the world as large. Basically we'll be expanding both outwards and inwards as the series progresses, am really excited to bring you guys there. LFY gets to be cool >u< HYX gets to be a face-smacker >v< we actually start to see a melting ice cube and random fluff >w<!
Yay to learning more about our characters! Having development and progression in both the storyline and the characters makes for an enjoyable read. Especially when the ice cube starts to melt for the beaming sun that is HYX~

Spoiler She runs from him around c290ish. I can't remember the details of the second one...I know that LFY, Emperor Tianhui, and Long Tianmo do split Tianning into 3 factions at one point...after the 400s or 500s? It's been a while, lol~

Well, they were pretty far out of Tianning at the time, so I'm pretty sure the emperor and the general's daughter had no idea what he was doing. (If they did, the author doesn't elaborate.) He finds her pretty quickly actually, because he's efficient. Like I said, she didn't run away from the Duke of Qin's estate. She and LFY were off doing stuff at an entirely different city when she fled. ....which chapter is this? They leave the capital multiple times. I don't think the emperor brings up the engagement/marriage alliance with DMY again after he fails to convince LFY.
I just finished the book and feel so broken... and really don't know if will be another sequel, because till the end there where happy, death together. So I have a feelings maybe the next book is not about Ruier but more about Yaner and Phoenix power... but I still having hope that Yaner doesn't list her memories if she does that sucks too much... and is a discovery to know that Yaner and that Dead little miss have the same face?? Too much right? Or the soul? That part is messy!
Last word we heard from author was her return on the first day of summer (6/21). Still more than a month to go... *pats*
I really do wish that the author will continue HYX and LFY's journey. Like finding their daughter, erasing that cockroach woman, and living the life that they should aside from helping out their son. They've been in too many problems and issue that they deserve a fluffy sequel!!!!
