Happy 2nd Birthday, Novel Updates!

    I can't believe it, Novel Updates is officially two years old! It feels like it was just yesterday that I was doing a few all-nighters trying to get Novel Updates released. This site was so bad back then! I can't believe people stayed with it through those tough times lol. If you were here from the beginning, you should know how much it has changed.     Even though I'm bad at expressing how grateful I am, I'm VERY grateful for all the support the site has been receiving and because of that, it has grown bigger than I would ever imagine. If you compare the traffic from the Novel Updates of last year to this year, Novel Updates is currently twice as a large. The site also went from only having one server to the four servers it has now. That's some crazy growth!

    Because of how big Novel Updates currently is, one of my favorite things to see is a new group getting instant traffic once they are added to the site. It feels good knowing that you're able to help a new group and that's thanks to everyone helping Novel Updates grow to this point. Did you know that Novel Updates averages at least one new group daily? Last week was a more active week but 14 new groups were added to the site during that time. The community is still growing!

    I think this community is really great. Even though the community is pretty big, you rarely see trolls messing with the description, tags or genres. I'm not saying they don't exist but considering how many active users there are, I would say the trolls are more on the rare side. Once a troll appears, you will see helpful users or the moderators fixing the damages the troll has done and I'm very thankful for that. I would like to say thanks to everyone that helps with adding releases, editing the tags, editing the genres or filling in missing information for novels without ever asking for anything in return. A special thanks to the moderators for helping keep NU neat and clean! There is no way I or the other moderators can do these things alone so I'm really thankful for the help. I, along with the community really appreciate the help.

    Thank you for all the work done in the past two years to help manage and monitor both Novel Updates and then forum. By having such a nice gathering hole for everyone we can then easily share our interests and find like minded people. We really do appreciated all that the Mods on both NU and NUF have done for us.
