The most recent one that I did a marathon to read was Life Mission... So I will just recommend it because I am to lazy to think about others.
Everyone Else is a Returnee - MC is a male and he have Unique OPness that you will like after reading it until chapter 30. Still, wait for me. - MC gone back to the past from an unknown reason by he doesn't care about it, the only thing he wants to do after going back to the past is correcting all the wrongs things and regrets that weighted on his heart. Especially the only girl of his life.. No fantasy, no supernatural or any kind of superpowers. Just plain romance, romance and slice of life.
If you're willing to read an untranslated Chinese novel, I'd absolutely recommend Bu Bu Sheng Lin by Yue Guan. I'm just on the last few pages right now and it's an excellent historical adventure novel with good characterization, plot, and writing. The book is an authentic depiction of Song China so it helps if you know a bit about the history - you'll stand to learn a ton! It's also really long at 3.5 million words, but the last few hundred pages have been just riveting.
I read EER until ch 80. Couldn't find a reason to keep going. The second seems interesting, Imma try it out. I've checked it out and it's amazing. I never really expected this novel to be what it is, but I'm really enjoying it right now. Finally, something to read.....
Well actually, I dropped it on chapter 70 something before because I reached the latest chapter. I only came after quite a long time and when I tried to read it, I noticed the novel really wasn't going anywhere worthwhile to me. It was all "he gets to go to this dungeon", "he levels up", "makes new equipment", and all that other boring stuff. End goal is probably him saving the world and marrying his harem or some shit, it didn't really appeal to me. Also, this might just be my problem, but I've always hated the idea of a person being peerless and all that shit, that's just not how the world works. I know it's fiction, but it's really similar to Shura's Wrath in that they both were pretty much MMO games, and yet the other players basically don't exist, and it's just disgusting sometimes to read this sort of wish fulfillment novels where the MC is the best is what he does. Pretty much, my slight inferiority complex acting up, but only the part where I hate people who think they're the best in what they do or are portrayed that way.
I did the same... From my perspective it just felt long winded and boring PoV changes, pacing, the way it was written or something along the lines. Pretty sure you'd read One Punch Man.... so that's probably not the problem.
Zhanxian There are 207 translated chapters and new ones come in irregular pace, usually 0-4 per month. Other than that it's a must read.
Well, I did read the manga like last year, but it was all a bit too absurd to nitpick on anyway. I guess it's the fact than an author is trying to make the MC someone peerless.... I guess the lack of realism for the sake of glorifying the MC is what ticks me off. I just don't believe MC is the only person who uses their brain in the entire universe.
