i'm searching for an asian drama wether japanese/chinese or korean all that matters is that the main male lead has every thing under control
    like :
nirvana in fire the MC is too smart that even in enexected situations he still control the whole thing
it doesn't matter if it's in combat/stragety or busines i just want the main male character to have every thing under control i don;t care if it's a romance or not

    luck-key?

an assassin loses his memories but still gets things under control.

also... you have to see a better tomorrow 1 and 2. gangsters taking control of destiny.

i haven't watched anything like nirvana in fire where the mc pretty much has everything planned out from the first episode, but here are some where in the mid/late eps you get to see mc controlling things
    Six Flying Dragons
Hotel King (not too sure about this, been a while since i have watched it)
    Innocent Man
A Man's Story (i dropped this didn't really enjoy it, but maybe you will like it)
most revenge kdramas have mc who pretty much control everything, though in the beginning not so much but in later eps they do.

some i haven't seen, that may fit
    Hanzawa Naoki
    The Advisors Alliance

Liar game - both the japanese and korean versions were good
    Kagi no Kakatta Heya
    Galileo
    Kurosagi
    City Hunter
No Game No Life - this one is an anime but it is closest to your request.
(I messed up the title on this one :p)

I haven't seen them since the old days of VHS. My Grandma watches a lot of them on tv. She has Asian Channels on some sort of satellite or dish network.
