For me work just lying down in the bed, no matter what's the time i'll always fall asleep in few minuts
First stop playing games and watching tv in your bed. Try to exercise at night around 7pm then eat dinner. Then turning off light in ur bedroom and just sleep nicely. Just do this till ur body adapt to sleep and wake up naturally without using alarm. Or just use sleep pill but it will cause addiction and the effect is lesser thru time
heh, then try waking up freaking early, like 7am. . . then don't take a nap, i'm pretty sure you take naps, also. . .if you really did that things you mentioned. . .then seek some help to your trusted doctor. . . but well, for starters wake up early and don't take any naps, then you will probably going to have an headache during the day, but well endure it and do your things, then when you are sleepy at around 7-8pm then sleep, switch off your PC or your phone that you use or any gadgets,
I am the master of irregular routine, so here it is without anymore delay. First don't sleep for one day at all. Dont go down at 3am or 9pm, just stay awake and resist the urge to goto to sleep until the day passes and 9pm arrives. You put your device far away from you, you also turn off any lights. Three make a sleeping ritual, for eg I drink a lot of water and strech my body. Everyday. Four is use that imagination. When you are trying to sleep, try focusing on your breath or rising or falling of your chest. Additionaly you can start yourjourney in an imaginary world.
I wouldn't recommend staying up all day like people have. Since youre already used to 3AM-3PM Sleep hours then if you stay up and sleep at 9PM, youll wake up at guess what? 3AM. Its better if you actually try to gtfo electronic devices and anything that makes you anxious. You know, surprisingly from observations of my depressed, night shifts, and nocturnal friends/acquaintances, theyre more prominent of actually sleeping in the time they want because theyre out of the presence of their computers or things that make them escape from tomorrow. But no really, try it some time. If not then just sleep close to 9PM like say 1AM then keep closing in from 12AM, 11PM, etc till you get to 9PM.
You sleep at 3:00 am i sleep at 5:30am.and those days i want to sleep at night i skip a whole day of sleeping. so just skip and be aptience. Do it on sunday otherwise you'll feel like a crack addict and see hallusinations. Onec i didnt sleep for three days and it was bad, i stared hearig voices and seeing shadows so dont do that.
it worked at least for me (edited) though after getting back to my hobbies (internet & gadgets) my insomia gradually came back too
I had the same problem myself. There is one method I treid as i usually slept near 3am and woke in the afternoon. Just one day do not sleep at 3am instead stay awake just keep on doing something so u do not get asleep. Then the same day go to sleep at 8 pm . Warning do not sleep more then 6hrs or whatever you feel is good for you. Afterwards just decide your needed sleeping time . You can slowly shift your sleep time as you wish. Moreover try doing some exercises and make yourself a timetable to manage sleeping and working hours
Go to sleep at 9:00, you will stay awake but your body will get some rest. Example, you will find yourself still awake at 1 am, but you will find it hard to actually try to stand up. (Mind awake, body sleep)
I guess so, I gave up trying though. going back to 9-5 starting monday now that this hurricane is gone, my current sleep schedule would have me going to sleep once I get home until around 10 or 11, then staying up the rest of the night.
Blue light keeps you awake, so try to avoid bright screens 2h before sleeping. If you have to use an electronic device, use a screen tinter like Flux or Twilight to give it an orange glow. Blue=sunlight, orange=interior light/candle light, which makes a person mpre inclined to sleep. Like others said, be careful of what you eat, drink warm tea (no caffeine!) or warm milk. Try to relax your mind, dont think, pretend to sleep is the best prelude to sleep
Depends on what you do on the bed. You should do all work outside of the bed as a rule of thumb as to not confuse yourself. Meditation before you want to sleep, so you're in a semi-sleep state already is pretty good. And depending on how good your body alarm is, you can stay up.
Don't eat after 8 pm. Light exercise before sleep. Don't drink coffee after 6. Maybe drink warm milk before sleeping. And masturbate.
