Heya o/ I made a post on the novel discussions section, but didn't see this here. We're up to chapter 15 as of this post. My opinion: [Not gonna lie, I'm pretty biased xD] I think the whole "blank slate" device is interesting. Ruri was sold by her parents, so she never had a role model to learn from. Now she's learning from Masachika. For instance, she learnt how to introduce herself after being taught by the MC. She also learnt how to eat pasta from observing the MC. It's like she's a toddler again, learning the basics. (Just so you know, one more chapter of determining their relationship. Then prepare for cuteness in chapter 17)
I has make a review for this WN before. But it didn't pass MOD censorship what the criteria to make review? can someone give me the link
some encouragement to make other to read, about some troll give this WN 1and 2 star just because of the title or slave tags. and about this WN similarity to anime Usagi Drop
Hmm. That's strange. I wouldn't think mods would be interested in removing a review like that. I don't think there's any criteria, just spoiler tags on stuff that could ruin the novel for prospective readers.
I got to say The title and the two lines synopsis don't show how great and heart wealming this WN At first When I thought modern day slavery, I really didn't want to read it (but thank god I did) It gave me the image of public slavery market in the modern days Which really gave me a bad taste because I didn't want to imagine such a world It is kinda wierd Because if it is a fantasy/ historical/ Or the same as this current novel (Black market slavery), it become more acceptable And this novel gave a really nice way to show that even in this modern day, slavery could happened at our back door What was really touching was how the different between an orphaned and child slave was introduce Orphaned = parents were either dead or abandoned him Child slave = Parents BETRAYED the child for f*** money
at first i just want read novel of dark side of modern people. and i think author give too ambiguous tittle. i think 'I bought a daughter' will give better impression the current tittle scare reader away. and the synopsis also dint give any help
I am not sure if we could write a different synopsis other than what was written in the original site But since there is no harm in having one, why not An ordinary man, who luckily one the lottery, wanted to have a cute housemaid. But, he discovered the hidden slave market in his country. Therefore, After taking an advice from his grandfather, he decided to use the money for others rather than himself. Buying a 9 years old girl, he took her home. And the story unfolds about their daily lives What do you guys think Does it sound better ?
The next volume in the series translates to something like "The girl became my daughter". So it's a little less ambiguous xD
I bought a girl is a 91 chapter and completed what about the second series (The girl became my daughter) how many chapters are there? also, can you provide us with the raws (the link please)
I bought a girl RAWS: http://ncode.syosetu.com/n1961bm/ The other volume "The girl became my daughter" has 89 chapters.
Is the original translator Chronon still around here? Just wanted to say that I picked up the novel and I linked my page to the old chapters of your page. For everybody else who's interested, look on novel updates for I bought a girl my page Shinzou Translations is linked there. Also would it be ok to repost the older chapters on my page in case that your blog goes down?
