I would prefer if they were THIS legendary. :blobxd:

I felt like only 1 choice in poll wasn't fair, so have 2 choices instead.

Some may find it bad. But I find it comically funny.

I don't like any dubs at all

p.s. exception would be DBZ, because the original japanese voice acting wasn't appropriate imo, and actually ice age (the animated kids movies) was better in Swedish than English imo. And since it's animated it's not as annoying to see characters mouth something other than what they're saying.

p.p.s no idea how the original chinese is, but after seeing the vid I've got to say this was probably one of the worst dubs...

Subbed anime is more pleasant to my ears.
Sounds weird when english dudes try to make the grunts and powerup sounds.

I like things in their native language but with my native language in sub. Doesn't matter if it has a dub for my language I still want it subbed so when I switch it back to their native tongue I wont miss out.

Sub. No matter what, it needs to be subbed. :blobangery:
If it's not subbed... There's like a gap between what I'm listening and seeing..
If you think of it as a drama set in ancient China, and you hear them speaking English....:blob_coughblood:
    It's just horrible

As a Chinese speaker, I say English dub is total bs. Especially when dubbing anime both japanese or Chinese. And Japanese.... doesn't have the supposed Chinese feel in the story. Heck, even the name changes

Ni No Kuni had pretty great dubs imo.

A lot of dubs fall flat because the guys doing the voiceover either just have weird voices that don't really fit the characters or speak their lines in a very stilted way that just sounds awkward. The translation might also be a problem...

But all of that falls on the heads of the company doing the dubbing. It's not like we don't have cartoons and animated movies here in the west, too. They're not even all made by disney! ...... So we have plenty of very talented voice actors here, too, with tons of experience. WE HAVE THE CAPABILITY! ... We just, uh, keep letting the wrong people do the work... :notlikeblob:

I prefer to have the subs. Problem with dubs is sometimes they are not in-sync with the mouth. Besides I'm used watching Kung Fu with English subtitles.
I can read and watch at the same time!

Indian media has been dubbing for decades
    Especially during singing
When done well you cannot notice it
it is just usually done poorly due to budget constraints and lack of sufficient trained personnel

Anyone who blankly hated dubs is narrow minded and laughable because many great performances have been dubbed
Animation is 100% dub, the characters are not actually speaking
