Discussion Chinese Vocaloid, anyone?

Anyone listen to Chinese Vocaloid? The project developing them is called Vsinger.

They're high quality. I still think Yan He is my favorite... Mo Qingxian and Zhiyu Moke still haven't had their voicebanks released yet (I think). Here are some songs that I like.

I think that there was one in Cytus, so I did listen to them. I also liked it, and I’m a fan of vocaloids, so...I’ll probably watch this thread to see some good songs!

 

Luo Tianyi's the oldest, so she probably has the most songs. Yan He has lots too, while the rest are kinda picking up (from what I've found on YouTube). I just looked at what was open on my tab and picked some songs I like.

From what I know, here are the oldest-newest (in terms of release)
Luo Tianyi- blue, soft voiced
Yan He- white hair, female but sounds boyish (often used as the male character in songs before Longya was released)
Yuezheng Ling- red, fits rock more than Tianyi (I think TianyixLing is like the biggest ship in the community)
Stardust-purple w/ pigtails
Yuezheng Longya-first male. Ling's bro.

Not into Vocaloid and whatchamacallit... Nightcore music.
Nightcore is basically a cover of the original song at an amplified tempo with additional beats/music. Whereas Vocaloid cannot throw out tones or put that extra Oomph into the music.(soul)
(Voice synthesized music tends to go for upbeat vibe and fast execution -> usually doesnt work otherwise.)

I still don't even understand why Vocaloid is popular, the few cases where I can stand it it is usually a real singer covering a vocaloid song rather than the reverse...
