Discussion I Eat Tomatoes

Coiling Dragon is my favorite. Though it's ending is abrupt (could have been better), it still manages to tie up loose ends. ST comes next; it has arguably the best ending of all IET novels, but the MC is has too much luck/plot armor.

I feel IET is not good at writing long novels like LXY or DE; they lose steam halfway past.

Haven't read Legend of Xingfeng, and, couldn't get into TNC and SS. Inch of Radiance has an unkillable MC (in later chapters), which killed my motivation to continue.

Seeking the Flying Sword Path seems shaping up nicely after an unconventional (and a bit shaky) start.

 

I like them all. but you don't give that option so.. Coiling Dragon since it was my first time >//<

 

coiling dragon has gotta be a favorite other than that DE, Lord Xue ying and ST are pretty much equal in my book
I Still remember when i at first actually gave up on reading CD because i thought it was a "Boring Obscure novel" Boy was i wrong. if i remember correctly i had dropped it when he...First? entered the city to get the Wizards exam i believe. After a while picked it up again for curiosity sake binged read it and here i am but now that i think back....i feel kind've sad when i think about it i mean with a bunch of novels ending WMW, ISSTH Etc, its similar to that feeling when you finally accomplish the goal you spent half your life doing only to realize, What now?

 

Coiling Dragon will always have a special place in my heart because it's what get me into the world of CN webnovels. But it have a rushed ending which is a bummer. Then I tried Stellar Transformation but only finished volume 1 before dropping it. It feels like an inferior version of CD. After that I read Desolate Era and it was pretty good. I like how he incorporates chinese god like Sun Wukong into the story. But i dropped the novel after the MC win the war and become the strongest in the universe and then he went out from his universe and realise he's trash. And Pangu and that Mother something which creates the universe are actually trash and not that strong to begin with.

Eh? Tomatoes taste badly... I mean, sure, they're healthy, but I prefer to eat other vegetables instead of tomatoes...

That said, I do eat them if they're on my plate, I don't like wasting food.

I was goign to vote Stellar transformation because it was the first one I readed, but I actually readed Coilling dragon the longest.

 

Eh? It is a bit of a joke to tell people to spare at least 10s thinking of a thread's title.

It's not that hard to make "What is your favorite novel from 'I Eat Tomatoes'" instead of "I Eat Tomatoes".

Low effort threads deserve troll and hijacking comments IMHO.

I mean, tomato sauce can be nice and all, but raw tomatoes are just bad!!!

 

Well in terms of the whole novels I can't say I'm a fan of any IET novels, I quite enjoyed the early parts of CD, ST, SS, DE and TNC but they all started to fall apart less than 1/3 into the story for me.
But out of the parts I did like from those novels I guess my favourite might have been the first volume of The Nine Cauldrons, I found the story much more interesting in the modern setting before the mc's reincarnation.
