...I can't do it.

I mean, staying still. I'm already able to walk around the chaos section of the temple without hitting a wall or entering the wrong room. Not much else to do aside from exploring. The physical strengthening didn't went too far, Eun-Ha sternly warned me not to maim my own leg in the process so I had to limit it. And now I'm bored.

Eun-Ha didn't specifically said about not taking quests, did she? Only not to do anything dangerous...

Since she's out, I snuck with Vhera in tow and went to the guild again. I already left a totally not-vague note stating that we're taking a trip south. Then after getting the ant nest marked in the map, I flew southward with Vhera's guidance.

Couple of hours later we arrived at the presumed nest. I'm not sure how big it was, so we flew closer and I poured water down the entrance hole. I think Vhera was having fun making giant ant ice popsicle out of the fleeing ants, judging from her giggling. It didn't take long for the anthole to finally overflow, I froze the whole thing and left it there. Vhera broke off some ants to bring along, I dont feel like digging the queen out of that frozen hole.

Next stop was the sea even further south. Vhera was displaying her impeccable marine life detection instinct, discovering a school of ferals in less than five minutes. I can hear the lot clawing at the massive ice sphere we used for protection, so I sprouted frost spikes out of it. The scratching immediately ceased after. Vhera didn't seems to like them, I'm quite sure that whatever part she's yanking out as proof shouldn't make that kind of sounds.

I discarded the presumably bloodied corpse ridden sphere for a new one before flying higher to look for pirates. Vhera said that there were way fewer black flags than two days ago... strange. Well, no matter. The few remaining can't hide from Vhera's gaze. We found another and dropped a spiked iceberg on it. Vhera described it as "split right at the middle" upon impact. That was oddly satisfying for the blind me.

Vhera picked up the peculiar tricorn, and finally we went for the kraken. Vhera's magnificently guided me to someplace at the sea, the mana pulse garnered the kraken's attention almost immediately. Angry tentacles grabbed onto the ice sphere, I flash-freeze a large area and pulled it whole. Now this one would make a good souvenir. Time to go home!

"Ants," some frozen stuff clattered at the table. "Mermaids," big splatter followed, and I think everyone else stepped away from us. "Pirates," the hat swished to Shadow's head." And finally, kraken outside." I pointed to the door's general direction.

"Oh, I think there's way less pirates today. Bummer, they're such a good income source..."
