#EQ1 – [B Rank] – The Dragons’ Invasion - [Day 1]

To quickly keep the city safe I summon Widow, Amphitrite, and Aki in their humanoid form and order them to help evacuate the citizens, support the adventurers inside the city, and protect the area from the invading dragons. I tell them to be careful and not die and if the situation calls for it then they can go back to their original form, good thing I gave them an emblem they could wear in case adventurers see them as enemies.
My wings emerge and I quickly fly outside the city and keep flying to see if they're some dragons faster than the rest that has almost reached the city. I soon encounter 2 earth dragons and 1 plant dragon flying towards us, I summon Chiharu and Hisana in their original forms as they focus on fire attacks and should be effective on the earth and plant dragons. On the ground I tell them to aim for the base of the plant dragons horns, as I wouldn't like it to stun or poison us, using Blaze Flash as it's a long range attack. I don't worry about the earth dragons yet as they are far behind the plant dragon, Chiharu and Hisana gather waves of intense microwave radiation in their mouths in a couple minutes before firing at the plant dragon and effectively cutting the horns from the plant dragon. The dragon has now been weakened considerably but I don't take any chances and order the two to fire again but this time, aim for the head to quickly kill it. The attacks work and the plant dragon is unable to dodge as the attacks are too fast to avoid due to it's current state.
Now focusing our attention at the 2 earth dragons coming our way in rage, I transform into my dragon form and increase my size to it's maximum and fly high above the earth dragons. I tell Chiharu and Hisana to prepare shooting another Blaze Flash at the 2 earth dragons but this time to strengthen the attack to be able to penetrate the earth dragons hard armor. I prepare to cast Fire Storm and due to being in dragon form and having mastered the spell, the total damage and amount summoned are heavily increased. After 12 minutes, I'm ready to cast and Chiharu and Hisana are also ready with their attack. I cast Fire Storm at the 2 earth dragons while engulfing myself in ferocious flames due to Fire Aura and quickly diving down at the 2 targets creating a fire tornado, the heat from the attack increases due to the pressure from the atmosphere and speed of my attack. As I make contact with the earth dragons, the two Blaze Flash attacks also make contact ending up in a big explosion sending the 2 earth dragons flying to the ground engulfed in flames. I quickly descend on the two bodies and shatter their armor and most of their internal organs with my weight, I then proceed to store the 3 bodies into my storage and fly back to Hisana and Chiharu. We head back to the city and check on the 3 who I left to protect the city.
Achievement and latest condition report:

• Safely escorted citizens away from the city
• Increased cities defenses by ordering Widow, Amphitrite, and Aki to protect the city and their inhabitants
• Eliminated dragons that had gotten close to the city

Venturing out into the night, I speedily rushed towards the grounded Earth Dragons and Dual-type dragons near the Snowy Mountain using Flow Like Wind. Upon arriving, I nod in satisfaction at the still-raging blizzard storm. The grounded dragons are too tired from resisting the slow effects that they are all in hibernation while recuperating. Stealthily, I put on my Ghost Mask and turned invisible. With not a single noise, I floated towards the sleeping dragons. Skinning knife raised, I *SWISH!* *SWISH!* *SWISH!* and beheaded three Earth Dragons. The remaining dragons stirred in their sleep as they sensed the lingering smell of blood. But they were too tired to care. I checked to see whether the dragons are still asleep or not. Upon confirmation that they were, I proceeded to chop three more Earth Dragons to their deaths - silently, but quickly.

After killing 6 Earth Dragons, I didn't want to take any more risks as I see more dragons stirring restlessly, so I collected the corpses and headed back to the guild.
Latest Condition Report: Blizzard is still ongoing, Earth and Dual-type dragons are asleep near Snowy Mountain.

#EQ1 – [A] – The Dragons’ Invasion - [Day 2]

[Reachii - Second Day of Dragon Invasion

Tension was really high on the rest of the city, but it didn't reach the Chaos Temple I resided at. Well, there's only me and Biel for the night since Eun-Ha went to manage the refugees but we're quite carefree anyway. We may not be able to fight the whole pack head on but they can only dream to get us if we decide to simply flee.

A really sore Dancchi left the moment we let her. She was kind of affected by the pink atmosphere Biel and I created, but had no outlet since Biel didn't want to "share" me with anyone else. We did plugged her with another "tail" so that we don't have to take turn enjoying the fluffy extremities, as well as using her as living pillow, but aside from that nothing notable to justify such fast leave. She even refused breakfast!

I parted with Biel after a lengthy breakfast, I need to depart earlier since my zone was further than hers. I flew to the other layer of defense, it was quite miserable considering how the dragons came in small packs to continue hound the defenders while looking for the hidden weakening devices. They were successful on some degree, but we held. Good job on that.

I carefully made my way to the limit of the defense line. It was practically abandoned, but it's perfect that way. I dont want any distraction or friendly fire after all.

I manipulated the nature mana to spread from my feet, raising a small company of Redwood treants to form a rank across the line. Around fifty was my limit, lest there won't be enough for the next phase.

I changed the properties and grew out another kind of tree. It had no leaves, no branch, and really smooth bark - practically it's a small forest of single trunk with pointed end. They exceed my height by one head and was around my thigh at the thickest point.

But each one of these weight more than ten times myself.

Yep, mana-grown Ebony. Cost way more mana than the treants even though the collective size was nowhere near one, but their denseness was titanic. Along with that denseness came weight and toughness, that's where my next plan came. It'll brought the least environmental damage compared to the rest of my arsenal.

The dragons' main bulk came several hours later, poison and plant dragons emitting toxic into the air. Good thing the wind blew their direction. I only needed to will the order for the treants to start moving.

They reached down for an ebony tree, with some difficulty angling it and flung like throwing javelins. The ebony javelins hurtled through the air, seven hundred kilograms of dense hardwood slammed into the frontmost dragons. Plenty missed and the dragons themselves dispersed, but some unquestionably fell and never move again.

The skirmish continued as dragons took evasive maneuver trading speed for survivability, while the treants simply launched en-masse at whichever spot I deemed had the most dragons. It was easier to hit the closer they got, but I'm running out of javelins fast.

Finally I spent most of my remaining mana for fifty longer pointy ebony, the treants launched their last javelin and picked these new addition with their four long, gnarly arms. They lurched forward at the sheer weight, but they held. And finally, the now bloodshot dragons reached them.

What can I say? My treants were outmatched. So badly it wasn't funny.

Dragons weren't dumb enough to run head-first onto spearpoint, which pretty much nullified the only advantage my treants got. They slipped through the gap and tore the fragile limbs, acidic poison melting wood whenever it made contact. Some died, of course, but it took several treants ganging one dragon to take it down. And they're already outnumbered in the first place.

As the last treants fell down, it brought a poison dragon down onto an unused javelin still sprouting from the ground. I made another line on my checklist on the poison dragon part, counting twenty three such lines as well as the thirty five on the plant dragon part.

"Well then, time to go. It was a decent result.]

[Dragons regrouping at the outer layer. An unknown number is maimed to varying degree by heavy javelin, however plant dragons may heal from such ailment in no time.]

The 1 and 6 is fine, although 6 is already bad enough. But 2...3...4...AND 5!!!

You mean we could extort some money from him, right? Like 'give us money or this will be all over the continent' stuff. And. yes, we might get a lot of customer there. Or better. Products!

Fanz body trembled from the quake and wakre him up from a slumber.

He gone from the guild almost for a month. There was alot of thing happened at the time he goes away.

Rumors fly the city. The monster lurking and seeing the city. Now. A dragon army come and wrecks havoc.

What's wrongs with this city problem anyway. So much monster.

So he walk out and goes to the guild and report for the quest.

D rank. What a joke. He always conceal all his power to cover his past. Now... he need to let out all the rust and stiffnes.

"The receptionist doesn't even remember me anymore."

Well he can't blame the receptionist. He a new guy and maybe didn't know him at all.

The city is tense. But not as tense as when the demon orc show up.

He walk out to from the city and equip gigantic gauntlet.

The gauntlet is as big as his body. Green colored and has claws instead of fingers.

He look around without interest.

Limit of 30. He can take more than that but the guild actually tell them to not too reckless and limit theirself.

Piece of cake.

He ignore all the order issued by the guild and just headhunts the frenzied dragon that passed the inner rings.

Limitation. So troublesome.

When he walk for almost two hours he found two earth dragons and four poison dragon.

"Hm. Savate. Canon."

Suddenly almost as if a bomb with great power exploded two of the poison dragon is blasted to smitherens.

Fanz... his past is an ex-captian of a country. His power is same with B ranker when he got expelled.

But that was three years ago.

Now his power is same with AA ranker.

When the explosion occured the other dragon rush at him. The eyes is red colored.

"Hee. Interesting. Manequin."

When he said those words all his body turned into ivory and became glistering under the sun. His joint became something like segmented. Like a porcelain dolls.

Yeah he really turn into manequin. Fusion skill he got from freyja.

When the earth dragon tail attack him suddenly all his body separated and scattef every where.

"Loky harp... shrieking wail."

If you watch closely all his body segment let out a string and began connecting with each other and trapped two earth dragons in it.

Suddenly all his body part moved and became one in the air.

Leaving cutted off dragons without even have chance to shriek and just leave a sileny wail.

The last two poison dragons became aware of him and watched from afar.

"Greed n' leech."

Suddenly the fingers claw of the gauntlets fly up like a rocket and pierce the dragons body.

The dragons body started to dried up rapidly leaving behind a dried up dragon husk.

"Six dragons. Need 24 more."

Patrolling in the inner ring of the city, I searched for any remaining refugees using [Eagle Eye] and [Heat Vision]. After a few minutes, i find seven heat sources nearby. As i started to rejoice at succeeding in my first mission, one of the heat sources started weakening "What the...". I jumped onto White and hurried him to [Dash] over there. As we got closer i got a clear view of the situation, there were three bandits surrounding three normal looking citizens. There was a body next to them, a HUMAN body. I couldn't believe my eyes, at the midst of danger, people are actually taking advantage of other people instead of helping defend the city. I could feel blood rushing to my head, and anger swelling inside my heart. Before i noticed, i already shot my bow, penetrating the head of one of the bandits and killing him. I jumped off White and rushed towards another bandit while White took care of the other with [Hell Fire]. As i got closer to the bandit, i took out one of my Red Daggers and slashed at his head. The bandit protected his head using his hand as a shield, a grave mistake. I forcefully took hold of his bleeding hand and used [Blood Drain], i sucked him dry and didn't let go until the only thing that was left of him was bones. The citizens looked at me, full of fear, as realization of what i just did hit me, I went berserk again....I let White carry the corpse of the citizen while i guided the living ones back to ensure their safe arrival.

My sixth sense kept tingling as we walked. I couldn't tell why so i flew up with my angel wings and watched the surroundings using [Eagle Eye]. What i saw shocked me...just behind a building next to us, a heavily injured Plant Dragon was laying on the ground. I remembered we were told to kill the dragons as soon as we saw them so i told White to put the corpse on the ground and come with me.

The dragon was hardly a challenge, his entire body was covered with injuries, the thick scale protecting the base of the horn was already gone, and White could use [Hell Fire] to deal with the plants summoned. i [Rapid Shot] at the dragon's eyes and base of the horn using [Holy Arrow] as the amount of normal arrows i had was limited and i didn't mind the usage of mana and the dragon was dead before i even realized it. letting White carry back the dragon's corpse, i told the refugees to carry their friend's body themselves. After a while, we arrived back to the guild safely.

Fanz walk leisurely in the forest.

This far he already kill four more dragons plant. He just need to use canons and takr care of them. No need to get close.

Weak and sorry excuse of dragons. Maybe this lizard is a wyrn instead of dragons. So weak.

When fanz walking he found a meadow in the middle of forest. In those meadow there are twenty dragons or so.

Maybe more. He doesnt care. He just need to kill twenty more.

Almost all the kinds of dragons is present. Even dual shit or somethinh. Maybe they are doing orgy in here. That he didn't want to know. But the thing he knows is this, all those dragons are on frenzied state.

"Fun. Well. Surprise!"

Fanz take a stance and then doing a continous punch set.

The greed green giant or more known as Gez tear the air currents. This 150cm long 50cm wide gauntlet move easily and almost looked wieghtless.

But in reallity it's weight more than 100kg each.

"Savate. Gatling cannon."

From admist the dragons a giant explossion occured. Killing 6 dragons instantly. 2 each from every dragons. Except dual.

"Manequin."

All fanz body undergoes a transformation and he changed into a porcelain doll. He got down on all four and then rush into the dragons.

He insta kill one plant and one poison dragon by crushing the heads.

He keep moving forward like a bull and moving all of his limb to use all his momentum and stack it.

Everytime he moves one dragon go to the land of dead.

When the dead count up to ten counting from the surprise attack, he let out a copperry chain that moving following his will.

It's long at first is 3 meters but this chain actually can change the lenght and size of it.

"Swift switch."

All the rest of dragons that standing on the grounds suddenly floating in the air.

Fanz without furthet ado move his claw finget following a pantern.

Almost instantly the chain moving like a dancing east dragon and pierced every dragons.

Exactly 10 dragons became a kebab.

I was making a patrol on the middle ring to see if I found any refuges, after 1 hour of patrolling I had found nothing and was about to go back to rest, but then, I heard a child's cry nearby, and decided to go after it.

Soon after I saw 2 children, one was a girl of about 12 years old and a boy that should be about 8, the girl was carrying the boy on her back, which was barely moving, he was probably dizzied due to the poison in the air.

I ran in their direction to help "Hey, Are you alri-"

I tripped... Fell on the ground with my face and everything...

"Ouch, this hurts..."

The girl is looking at me with a face of disbelief... she doesn't seem to trust me much, guess I didn't make a very good first impression... All that on my first guild mission, I'm depressed. Oh well, not much use in dwelling in it, for now I need to take care of the boy and then help them evacuate.

"Hey I'm Hikari, from the guild, I'm here to help, is the boy alright, he seems really pale and is barely moving."

She still didn't seem to trust me much, but the mention of the guild seemed to ease her a little, she mentioned that the boy was her younger brother and that she didn't really know what was happening to him, he was looking just fine yesterday, but today he suddenly took a turn to the worse and could barely speak.

"Seems to be the poison from the dragons, don't worry, I have an antidote here with me, if he drinks this he should be better in a few minutes, now let me just put this on his-"

... I dropped the antidote on the ground, it broke and spread around... the girl became speechless.

"Do-Don't worry, I have another one with me here, it will surely be fine if I just-"

She took the antidote from my hand and gave to her brother herself... It seems I'm not really reliable am I...

"Alright, let's wait here for a bit until he gets better, after that I'll show you the way to safety, I know I just messed up right now... twice, but I can help you out on this so trust me on this okay?"

She seemed a bit dubious on it, but decided to trust me, I thought things were finally going fine, but "ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR" I heard a huge cry coming our way, it seems we won't be able to wait until her brother recovers.

"It seems a dragon is coming our way, we won't be able to wait here, come, let's run!"

"Eh? Aren't you from the guild? Go kill it for us, I can run by myself while carrying him"

"What? I'm not that suicidal alright? I just joined and those things should be troublesome for the A ranks, moreover, they usually hunt in pairs, no way I can do that, we should just-"

I stopped talking, one poison dragon already reached us, ugh, he probably got closer while we argued, he was wounded all over, but I didn't have much faith in being able to beat him by myself.

"D-D-D-D-Dragon!!! Come, let's run!

Without waiting for her reply I got her hand and started to run while trying to avoid the dragon, however, she couldn't run very fast with the boy on her back, so the dragon was getting closer quickly, I tried to use some alleyways to confuse him, but it was no use, he was getting closer and closer, seems like I have no choice but to fight I turned on one alleyway, proceeded a bit on it and turned around to wait while urging the girl to keep on running, a few seconds passed which seemed to take ages, finally the shadow of the dragon appeared in front of me, he was here!

"Alright it's now or never! Love Sign: Master Spark!!!"

I shot the huge laser in the dragon's direction just as his head came into my view, his mouth was open already, probably to shoot his breath, this ended up helping me, as the Master Spark just pierced his whole body and killed it off in one go. I also ended up destroying one or two walls behind it though. I fell to the ground after that, the problem with this spell is how it completely empties my mana right after use, I quickly drank a mana potion and forced myself to stand up, my legs were shaking out of fear, if the second dragon came over I would surely be finished.

"Come on, lets hurry, there is no telling when the other one might reach us, and I can't cast that spell again, so c'mon!"

We started running again, but we were both already out of energy, I got a bit relieved that we were getting away and thought we would be able to rest, but... The other dragon appeared, not only that, his eyes were completely red, it seemed to be angry because of the death of the other one. I tried throwing one of my explosive potions his way to distract him, but he just shook it off easily.

We kept on running, but he was getting close by the second, it wouldn't take long until he would reach us, and at this moment, the girl tripped and fell, the boy on her back also fell with her. I knew we would have no time to get up and run again, so I had no choice, I decided to go on the dragon direction and throw my last 2 explosive potions at him, with luck I might be able to weaken him enough so that he won't be able to pursue the children.

We reached each other, he opened his mouth to throw the breath, I was finished, even so, I threw my bombs at his mouth to try and give as much damage as I could, and at the same moment, the breath came... however, once the explosion from my potions occurred, the breath was ignited as well, it seems it was flamable - lucky me, with the help of his own breath, the flames consumed his insides and instantly killed him.

"Whew, that was dangerous, I thought I was totally done for when that dragon got close to us, lets wait a bit for us to recover our forces and then I'll take you two to a safe area, I don't think any other dragon will reach us this away from the frontlines."

We waited for a bit and soon enough her brother got better and while we were tired, we had to keep on moving for safety, we evacuated without any other trouble and the both of them thanked me with a heavily relieved look, I'm happy that I was able to save them, made all the dangers worth it.
