i think you need to worry about stocking materials and getting better on it before you worry about the money to open a shop... you can still accept smithing jobs without one, and once you earn enough fame you can open your own shop.

    well, that's my opinion.

    The Adventurer’s Guild.

Why didn’t she think it before? As a person who seeks thrills by brawls and bloodshed, the guild should have been her choice all along. A homeless brawler like her could make that much money for a living anyway, so even if she wanted to brawl all day, she wouldn’t have much left for her to eat everyday because of her medication bills. Yep, medication bills. She is one hell of a reckless fighter, charging forward like a bull to do a quick kill…. But also quick to exhaust or hurt her own self, which is why most of her bets and fight money goes to clinics or health potions.

That loop caused her to stay at that level. She could not afford even a single pair of new underwear…

Perhaps, it was because she was not familiar with this world yet. She came from a different world, a transported person by pure chance. She did not wish to do so, nor any of the gods who managed her old world and this world. The rift just swallowed her like that. It was an incredible luck, an astronomical luck to survive a natural dimensional rift and ended up transported to a habitable place in one piece. She even didn’t need to learn the language as both worlds, once again by super luck, was the same.

She was crashed in the Holy Empire of Human, the place of human supremacist and corrupted nobles. Every day she would make money by street fighting, challenging anyone with or without weapon, and would always win by a small margin since she used a strange art and unusual, undetectable ability. She wished to have some sort of weapons, even shin guards would suffice. But at this point, trained her body by striking mithril armors and pinpoint the small gaps, she didn’t think she needed a weapon. But still, for her satisfaction she might buy one or two in the future.

There was a strange rumor circulating in the Empire and she was intrigued. The rumors of a floating city nearby. She didn’t want to believe it, but apparently she witnessed enough magic to believe the strangest things. Heck, she even witnessed angels with strange personalities descended upon the Empire Capital… and just very recently she witnessed a small girl did an epic battle against some of them. “If a battle that scale is possible, a flying city Is not impossible…” was what she thought.

She decided to go to this flying city out of curiosity.

On her long journey there, she realized that this world has not only strange magics and strange metals but also strange creatures. Living puddings, bipedal boars, cow-sized insects… and she was forced to deal with them barehanded. It was too much for her. Some carapace is harder than mithril, and she had no knowledge on how to land effective strikes on them. Most of the time she would flee to save her life.

After roughly 2 weeks of journey, she arrived at the Delta Town. She quickly brawled there, waging her body for some petty cash and the most important thing: how to get to Aeternus and what to expect there. To much of her disappointment, her daring bet was in vain since if she asked normally, every townspeople would answer her without the need to brawl and such savagery. She’s a stupid musclehead.

And then, filled with shame, she stepped in the teleportation portal. She finally had arrived at the wondrous flying city. She forgot her shame and went to the city’s edge to admire the view. She would walk aimlessly and asked around about what to do to make money… and she stumbled upon the information of the Adventurer’s Guild. With much enthusiasm she would ask and listen to everyone about it until she finally decided to join their ranks.

In her surprise she found out the vast diversity of races and organisms if compared to the Empire. There, she would occasionally find non-human slaves, mostly elves, dogkins and catkins. At Aeternus, or to be exact the Adventurer’s Guild, well… She saw a tall lady with a gentle smile who let out dark red-purple aura from her body, two underaged girls working at the receptionist board with one of them had two big and fluffy tails, a loud and perverted android girl, a talking and flying fry pan, a man with full body armor smeared with dried crap and occasionally stabbed by everyone, a cockroach, a hero from a famous tokusatsu, sexually unidentifiable person in holy armor, a smiling pile of turd…

Amused by such lineup of members, she was deeply disappointed by the appearance of the guild master. He was a pedobear in a tuxedo.

Finally sorted up her fascination she quickly went to the quest board to pick some easy quests. She didn’t forget to gather info before picking up her quests. Her criteria for her first quests were humanoids. And so, she took those quests and once again descended to the ground below.

Teleported directly to Frontier Village, it was a bad timing for her. She was welcomed by the villagers asking whether she would protect them from the undead attacks or not. She answered without hesitation, “yaa~ I’m here just because I need to go to the great plains. Ain’t got no time for rotten flesh, ya~” they kept pleading her, but she brushed them off. She was a battle drunkard but that doesn’t mean she loves to experience death. She wasn’t familiar with this world yet, and most of her battle experience was against humans. Undeads were too advanced for her. And she didn’t have the merit to join the fray, when she asked the villagesmen for possible rewards, they couldn’t answer. Without any reward she wouldn’t do it.

And so, ignoring the glances from the whole village, she set her foot to hunt the quest monsters. A few hundred meters away from the village she was targeted by a flying arrow… not. The trajectory was far in front of her that if she wants to get hit by it, she had to do a double forward jump. But that “stray” arrow was a sign of something. A group of bandits. Her first opponents as an adventurer were humans.

Slightly licked her lips, she was in joy. Brawling against humans was her specialty, and still are. She dashed to them, counting how many were there. 1,2,3,5,8… enough to pass one of her quests. Ignoring the shitty archer, she added more psychological pressure to them, “YAAAHAHAHAHAHA~ VERMINS! TRASHES! I’LL CRUSH Y’ALL LIKE BUGS!!” and it worked wonder. Seeing a thin clothed girl rushing without regards, even in presence of sharp weapons and arrows, on top of fearlessly dashed forward while looking so happily sadistic. The bowman turned his back and ran away cowering like a sissy.

3 bandits with leather shields came forward and form a wall of defense. Or it should be. The way they held the shield, the stance and point of gravity center, the technical know-how to form a defense wall, they were almost like boys dreaming to be a knight. Millie, highly experienced against mercenaries and sometimes knight of the empire, found that wall to be very brittle. One roundhouse kick to the rightmost bandit and all 3 of them collapsed by domino effect. One of the shield bandits was able to get back up, only to meet Millie’s sole on his face and caved it in.

After 2 quick kicks, Millie stepped back and dodged a sword slash from a rough looking bandit. After that slash, a woman wielding daggers on both hands charged. Millie was ready to intercept, but to her surprise, this dual wielding bandit was capable of mirage skill, allowing her to trick Millie’s eyes. Stepping sideways, the dagger woman managed to skewer Millie on her side.

But Millie, having her whole life spent at brawling, and her recent life battling armored and armed soldiers, she didn’t pay much attention to the wound as the wound wasn’t fatal. If anything, she showed a wicked smile. Due to her lack of magical battle experience she couldn’t help but receive these kinds of wounds. Felt slightly irritated, yet glad, she grabbed the bandit woman’s hand and quickly pinned her on the ground. She broke her elbow by a simple joint breaker and continued by stepping on her neck. A fatality.

    “uooaaaa!! You biiitch!!”

The sword wielding bandit was slashing madly, but Millie was alarmed by his battle cry and easily dodged the attacks. Her movement was a bit dull since she got a dagger lodged to her side, but unrefined swings like those wouldn’t touch her. She kept toying with the stupid swordsbandit, laughing his vain efforts while holding her wounds down. After some time passed, the bandit was exhausted. She was going to make her move when she saw a green light permeating from the swordsman. It was a spell to heal his stamina.

She quickly glanced behind him and spotted two robed figures. Perhaps one of both of them was capable of healing magics? She would make sure later. But for now, she was ready to face another rush of this bandit. The same thing happened again, reckless swings which none of them meet their destinations. Getting a bit tired of it, Millie pulled the stuck dagger out and threw it to the bandit’s unprotected thigh.

    “GYAAAAH!!”

The poor bandit cried out of pain. Contrary to Millie whose injury should be worse, Millie was smiling, feeling delightful to hear the scream. The bandit dropped to the ground while holding his wounded thigh. He didn’t have the courage to pull out the dagger, so, even when his companions healed him, it was useless since the dagger was still lodged there. Out of frustration, the robed person threw a fireball to Millie, hoping for her to take a step away for them to treat their companion.

But what happened was the opposite of his hope, Millie didn’t step back. She was still smiling wickedly, predicted that this kind of pattern would occur. She let go of her right hand that was pressing her wound, pulling a thick trail of blood along. With that blood she transformed a wet shield and brushed off the fireball. All the bandits left dumbfounded.

“yahahaha~ didn’t see this coming, huh? Too bad, ya~”

Once again she transformed her blood shield, this time to a short sword. Without waiting any further she swung her scarlet sword to the swordsman’s neck, lopping his head off. The two robbed figures tried to run away with no avail, Millie touched the severed neck to get his blood pulled off and formed some throwing knives. With those, she struck their legs. It was quite a feat to hit two pairs of running legs with hurriedly formed blades that even Millie herself was surprised. She certainly felt a different kind of satisfaction due to her luck in this matter, however she put her priorities straight. She approached the two robed persons while permeating and intimidating atmosphere. Adorning an evil smile and preying eyes, the two robed bandits were shivering in fear, hopelessly waiting for their impending dooms.

As Millie needed another step to finally reach them, the fireball bandit threw a desperation strike, a firewall right in between of them. The wall of fire was not that hot, but no ordinary mortal could hope to pass it without any burns. Of course, even if Millie was not well experienced in magical combats, she was plenty experienced in street brawls to understand that she couldn’t be careless until the fight is over. Realized there was a strange sign on the ground beneath her feet, she quickly side stepped and barely evaded the sudden surge of flame.

“*whistle* ya still have tricks up your sleeves, eh? Yaa, how about that other guy? Got another flashy magic?”

Millie glanced to the other robed bandit. He…she did have another will to survive. The hood was lowered and Millie could see the face and a bit of cleavage peeking out of the disheveled robe. Right after the firewall, she took the chance to pull the projectiles out of her own calf and had begun healing it when Millie saw her. It seemed like a balanced party for mere bandits, however their individual skills were too low a novice with no proper equipments like Millie could deal with them. Having realized this, Millie was resolved to not prolong the fight anymore since she wouldn’t get any more valuable lessons from this battle.

Or so she planned. Before she could take another step, a person swung his sword diagonally from her left side. It was one of the shield bandit. “Ara, I didn’t kick you hard enough? Doesn’t matter, ya. I’ll finish y’all quick this time since I’m bored, ya~” and true to her words, she formed a short spear and impaled the shield bandit at his neck before he could defend himself. Millie didn’t wait for the shield bandit to fall down before she retracted her scarlet spear and turned her body to impale the fireball bandit. He died immediately with a hole in his heart. Finally, when it came to the healer bandit…

    “p-please wait a moment…!”

She pleaded to Millie. Since this bandit didn’t directly hurt Millie, she let her finish her words. “p-please… I was coerced to join this group…. At, at least, please inform my death to my family at the Treacherous Port… I… I have written a letter to them… I sincerely hope they would forgive me for being unable to resist the bandits’ coercion… T-this is my la-last request.. I have some gold coins in my purse… please..”

“Oh? Are yar words true? Ya telling me to do a job for ya? Hah?”

Millie was quite confused. She was a ruthless, but she wouldn’t harm people that don’t harm her. That’s one of her policy. As such, since this bandit didn’t attack Millie before, she held back. However, what the bandit lady was true. She didn’t try to attack Millie under her confusion. The female bandit presented her the said letter and her gold purse. She was sincere. Seeing this, Millie said to her, “do it yarself, ya! I ain’t gonna do petty quests with meager rewards yanno!?”

Millie gave back the letter and the gold purse hurriedly and walked to the dead bodies. Shocked speechless, the bandit lady watched Millie as she ransacked the bandit’s bags for items and golds. After the leg had been fully healed, she stood up and thanked Millie with tearful expression. Millie brushed her off like it was not her concern anymore, but deep in her heart she was glad she didn’t kill an innocent victim. The [former] bandit lady ran off happily, being freed of the bandits and returned to her family.

Finally silent, Millie retired herself to a nearby tree. She might not act like it, but she was hurt. The stab wound was deep enough to pour a good amount of her blood. While she could use her blood as her weapon, there’s a harsh backlash on her if she was to overuse her own blood. She’s a normal human being with an awakened skill upon her arrival in this world. When she lost plenty of blood she would be harmed like any normal human would.

Luckily the bandits brought a good amount of health potions. She looted some other potions like stamina potions and mana potions, but what she needed at that moment was the health potion. She emptied one of the large health potion in one go and closed her eyes for a moment. But her temporary peace was interrupted by light footsteps and barking sounds.

    Kobolds.

They sniffed blood from who knows where. It was quite understandable since Millie’s battle earlier spilled large amount of blood. Millie’s position was a bit further than the bandit corpses, but there was a trail of her own blood on the ground. It would surely guide those kobolds to her position later. But it was still a bit later. Millie relaxedly watched the kobolds having feast with the bandits’ meats. They ignored her blood trails since they had a sufficient amount of meat for all 20 of them.

Felt her rest was enough, she silently yet openly approached the kobolds. This time she wasn’t barehanded. Against a big group, it was wiser to have extra warranty on survival. Thus it was a good decision for her to take the dagger woman’s daggers earlier. Intending to end the kobold subjugation as quick as possible, she wielded the daggers on both hands.

    “YaahhahaHAHAHAHAAA!!”

Started by her battle cry, the battle against kobolds began. A group of five kobolds, each wielding their own weapons, came rushing to Millie. She welcomed them with her usual daunting smile and rushing as well, skillfully parrying the kobold’s awkward weapon mastery. But as expected, with her lack of knowledge about this world’s way of combat, she still received some damage, albeit just scratches. It was not as bad as the wound done by the dagger bandit.

As Millie battled against 5 kobolds, the rest of them continued their feast, not minding about their comrade or opponent. Millie noticed this, and she quickly turned her body to evade and rushed to the relaxed group of 15, and cut 2, 3, 4 defenseless neck arteries. The relaxed group was disoriented, which was right as Millie’s prediction. She felt like common tactic against multiple opponents worked even in this fantasy world. She was satisfied by her own dangerous gamble.

As the feast group was not ready for combat, they couldn’t do anything when 4 of their comrades were swiftly cut. During the confusion, some of them tried to grab their weapons and stood up, but instead they blocked the 5 kobolds who were confronting Millie earlier. Their formation was utterly broken and the 16 strong group was in complete chaos. Grasping this chance, Millie broke free from the circle by cutting the stumbled group and got out of the encirclement. 14 left.

All 14 kobolds were now ready to take revenge. They readied their stance, gripped their weapons, and growling resentfully. Millie smirked, she felt like she was in a pet shop, choosing a dog to bring home. She couldn’t hold it anymore, she chuckled. What an easygoing person….

Even if the kobolds aren’t too intelligent, they have their pride. Being mocked isn’t their favorite thing, and they would surely make Millie pay for the humiliation she had done to them. Once again the kobolds held their formation and quickly surrounded her. Left without a gap to leave, she pondered about which doggie to strike first.

    She didn’t need to!

One of the biggest kobold struck her with its long spear from behind. She reacted just in the nick of time from the kobold’s expression in front of her. If it didn’t smirk questionably, she would be skewered. Having barely dodged, she giggled once again, adding another batch of fuel to their raging anger. Two other kobolds struck from her side, this time she was fully aware and parried both swords with her daggers and in exchange she delivered two strong front kicks to their necks. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to kill them, but the encirclement was once again broken. She quickly went out of the encirclement, and this time sliced the two kicked kobolds’ throats in the middle of her forward roll. 12 left.

And it came so suddenly. An arrow grazed Millie’s shoulders from the back and lodged itself in one of the kobold’s eyes in front of her. Surprised by the sudden event, Millie reflexively turned her head to peek behind her and discovered a group of orcs were running and shouting gibberish, they wanted to join the merry battle. Millie was trapped. In front of her were angry kobolds, behind her were fresh and eager orcs.

She shifted her target to the orcs because some of them had bows and arrows, which was dangerous for her who was pinched in between. It was quite a large group, with at least 5 of them a size bigger and wore armors. Just as she needed, orcs and orc leaders. Once again, she smirked. She had plenty of luck in finding stuffs it seems.

Undaunted by their battle cries, Millie once again dashed forward, this time targeting the orc archers. But, it wasn’t an easy task for her since the orcs closed the path to her targets. For low creatures like orcs, it seems that they were not that stupid. At least they understood how a party worked… But, once again, Millie was delighted. She was eager to learn all sorts of battle in this world, and more than happy to humor combat tactics such as these. Two of the orcs vanguards swung their crude axe towards Millie, which she evaded rather lightly sideways. Another one swung horizontally right at her torso, but she jumped high and rolled airborne, magnificently evaded the attack. On her way to the ground, she didn’t forget to send her welcome gift: a brutal heel drop to the orc’s head. The result was quite satisfactory as she got its skull badly cracked. It was even visible clearly. Orc’s skull is a tad bit harder than human skull, but her reinforced kicks could break bones easily. She didn’t reinforce her kick this time because she wanted to test out how tough orcs were.

Continuing her strikes, she threw a strong low kick to the next orc behind its knee. That low kick were brutally dislodging any connection the knee had to offer: from tendons to skin, they were ripped by a single kick. Continuing her combo, she placed her right foot which was used to do the low kick earlier in front of her, pivoting her stance, and did a jumping spin reverse roundhouse to another orc’s temple. Due to the force applied, its left eye popped out of its socket and flew forward, followed by bits of broken skull. Using her momentum she jumped to the dropping orc, made it a foothold to dart through the now unguarded targets: the orc archers. Caught by surprise they couldn’t react when she stabbed two throats at once left and right. Blood spurted and streamed like waterfall, and she once again experimented on it.

As her hands were already in contact with the blood, she immediately tried to form swords on both hands. It worked, but with a slight difference. She quickly jumped backwards and spin-slash another orc and found out that the scarlet swords made from orc’s blood were a bit thicker and heavier. To make sure, she did a double horizontal slash to the nearest orc. It managed to block and counterattacked with brute swing, forcing Millie to retreat a few steps. With bitter expression she undid the blood sword, unhappy with the results.

    Then, what about kobold’s blood?

As soon as she got that idea, she returned to the kobold bunch, only to find out they were already right behind Millie, and in the middle of swinging their swords down on her. There was no escape, only quick death awaited her. But, Millie with her vast brawling experience found one bet to save herself. In just mere milliseconds, she decided to gamble her way out. A reckless but the only option to survive the obvious death: she lunged towards the doom instead. She boldly approached the nearest blade, cross-blocked it using both of her daggers and simultaneously delivered a leaping front kick to the kobold’s bosom.

She did it! She broke the sure-kill from the kobolds, broke their formation, and survived her death sentence! Felt like she was just an inch away from death, her blood rushed even more, adding another fuel for her excitement. As a self-congratulatory gift, she quickly slit the downed kobold’s throat with big grin plastered on her face. But she knew the battle was not over yet. Her survival did not end just like that. She quickly turned her body around and prepared her stance.

But none of the kobolds nor orcs came.

15 orcs, 11 kobolds, Millie witnessed a clash between both races. It was quite apparent which was winning and which was being cornered. Orcs with bigger numbers plus 5 leaders against 11 shaken kobolds. But apparently the kobolds were quite relentless with their counterattacks, they did not down without retaliations. Each kobold managed to bring at least one orc to die along. Millie, who leisurely watched the death match, was sitting down on the ground and sips a bottle of health potion.

Her bet earlier was not without risk, her outer thigh and both sides of her hips lost good chunks of meat. She couldn’t possibly move properly even if she desperately endured the pain as her muscles were also shaved off. Fortunately for her she looted plenty of health potions from the bandits, she poured 3 bottles of them directly to the wounds. Those potions sting badly when directly applied, but with much faster and better rate of recovery compared to digestive method. She heard this piece of useful information when she was hanging out with mercenaries in the Empire, and she was thankful to whoever gave her this handy knowledge as she managed to heal every wound of her body quickly. Another escape of death, another surge of relief.

Right when she finished her medication, the victor of the death match was decided. She saw 5 orc leaders standing and roaring their battle cries. Millie stood up, put her pair of daggers inside her item box, and formed two short swords out of kobold blood. She swung both on both hands, checking the shape and weight distribution. She was satisfied, the kobold’s blood turned out to be a better material than human’s blood to form a pair of swords. It was lighter and thinner, but denser at the blade’s middle part. It suited her tastes very much. After she made sure her preparations was good, she walked to the orc leaders.

She wanted to get more combat experience, she wanted to feel another hard lesson. But she knew she couldn’t do it anymore. From her judgement, she chose to believe the orc leaders were undoubtedly stronger, whether by strength or technique. She couldn’t hope for another carefree and enjoyable fight if her priority was her own life. And thus, she decided to give her all, giving at least 4 of the orc leaders quick deaths. She hoped for the last survivor to give her the lessons she needed, but “save it for later, ya~” and she clad her own legs with pale white flaming aura.

    “Mystic White.”

Of course, clad in such aura there was no way monsters couldn’t sense it. It was a rather strong leak, a self-buff aura filled with fighting spirit. This technique gives Millie a minor boost in her general stats like strength and speed but she couldn’t hold the aura for more than 3 minutes. But 3 minutes were all she needed. Brimming with confidence and joy, Millie was ready to intercept a giant battleaxe that was coming to her.

    *whoosh*

A strong horizontal slash from the orc leader. And another slash. Another one. Again, again, again. She smirked on realization that the orc leader was not too significantly stronger than the regular orcs, given that she could dodge the barrage with plenty of margin. Even if she took account of the aura, since it doesn’t give her a massive boost, she could safely assume that she was fairly mistaken. Giggling her own unneeded worry, she moonsault-kicked the axe’s blunt part and made it fly to infinity and beyond. She didn’t intend to enjoy the orc’s flabbergasted face as she nimbly sprung forward in a high somersault and dropped her killer heel on its head, scattering its brain matter in one hit.

Another orc elader came, lifting its giant battleaxe high to build power in its downward swing. If millie were to receive that, she would be turned into nugget. If. Not wasting the opportunity, she leaped forward, spinning on her right foot as a pivot, did a little bit of hop, and one of her favorite kick, “Tornado!” was received by a widely open orc ribs. The force was so great it launched that orc to another one, and both of them crash landed unsuccessfully. She lunged forward to give the final blow to the defenseless orc, but it was already skewered by mistake when it crash landed to its friend. And as the skewered orc was on its friend’s body, the one that were still alive beneath were struggling to get up. Millie didn’t allow that, she touched the orc blood and formed a giant axe. With a quick downward swing she decapitated the trapped orc.

The two surviving orc leaders were hesitating to attack her, but in the end they simultaneously swing their weapons, an iron mace and a rusty long sword, to her. It was a bad timing for Millie who was holding a heavy scarlet battleaxe, but as the orcs were lacking in brain department, one of them tripped on its own friend’s corpse and fell forward, holding on the other orc leader’s hips. Both of them fell down. If it was a relaxed atmosphere, Millie would surely mock and provoke that stupidity. She would laugh off to her heart’s content, disregarding the shame on the opposite side. But, as she was intending to quickly finish them, she once again lifted her heavy battleaxe and cut off their necks.

    Finally over.

In this short time, not even half an hour had passed since her first encounter with the bandits. Somehow, she was forced to fight off 3 groups of foes, and that greatly exhausted her. She suffered a severe stab on her right flank, holed wounds on both sides of her hips, and lost a big chunk of meat on her outer right thigh. She had only 2 health potions left, the rest was consumed to heal those wounds already.

With this rush of combats, she learned a very valuable lesson to survive in this world as an adventurer: she needs proper protections and proper amount of medication. She could fight off well equipped knight or mercenary in a duel, but against monsters in big numbers like these, she couldn’t be leeway with her attires. She should invest a good amount of money to ensure her survivability. When she got back to the city, she would ask around for cheap armors…

She wanted to get some extra income, so she looted everything she could. Unlucky for her, the orcs didn’t have anything worthy of gold, while the kobolds’ weapons could be sold for tiny golds. Along with the kobold’s loots, she found a pair of bracers and a pair of shin guards with pristine quality. “Better than nothing, ya~” she strapped both pairs of protectors on her limbs. When she was ready to depart, she looked back once more to ensure there was nothing more to loot… and she realized something.

Kobold has a furry skin, and she felt the skin could somehow be processed like common cow leather. Perhaps she could have a kobold leather vest for cheaper and durable armor? And so she worked her best to skin the kobolds. Her knowledge to survive in the wild let her do an awkward job of bleeding and dressing them. She herself wasn’t feeling contempt with her own results, the blood wasn’t bleed out properly and the skinning job was jaggy and uneven in many places. With a sour face, she collected the raw leathers into her item box and decided to rest under a tree, far away from ground zero.

About two hours later, she awakened from her quick nap. The blood stuck to her body and outfit was starting to smell, not to mention the rigidness. She then searched for a small spring on Verdant Forest’s edge. In the meantime, she enjoyed her stroll in the nature. Surrounded by trees and animals, sometimes she would spot wiggly and harmless slimes. The way they reflect light was amusing to her, and the jelly-like constitution made her lips formed a pleasant crescent. In the end, she was guided by a bunch of stray slimes one after another to a small stream. She wasn’t sure if she could drink a stream which was surrounded by slimes at first, but seeing that other animals also gathered there, peacefully drinking the water, she judged that the water was safe. And yes, it was safe. Relieved, she drank the water slowly. The taste of fresh and slightly cold water refreshed her as she took her time enjoying her drink.

The small stream was not wide and deep enough for her to dive in, so she scooped water bit by bit, patiently and graciously cleansing her body from dried blood clots. As her clothes were also rigid from the dried bloods, she took them off and washed them on the spot. She didn’t mind having an open bath like this… a nice change of mood for the ruthless lady brawler. Especially relaxing after the hectic battle royale session.

Hours later, it was late afternoon when Millie finally decided to dress up and leave the stream. Since it would be dark soon, she knew she had to go out of the forest. When she almost out of the forest’s edge she felt some presences behind her. The sound of subtle brush against bushes and careful footsteps. Whatever they were, Millie could tell that they were targeting her, waiting for her to drop her guard and ambush at once. But, as expected of a savage brawler.

“Those who attacks first claims the victory, ya~”

With a sudden, quick lunge backwards, she delivered a strong back kick to the nearest suspicious bush. Bang! She could feel a solid sensation of a strange-shaped hardness on her sole. A moment later she peeked over the bush and found a humanoid lizard with a caved in snout. A lizardman. She quickly glanced around, and found at least 10 more lizardmen were eyeing on her. Each of them were armed by either crude wooden rods with sharpened tips or short wooden clubs. As she did a quick threat analyze, she realized that their main threats were their jaws, claws, and those thick muscular tails. There was also the terrain disadvantages as she was not specialized in an uneven and dense ground. But she was not Millie if she didn’t find this opportunity attractive. Another opportunity to learn to fight against non-human humanoid while pressured by disadvantages. She loved the thrill. She couldn’t help but lick her lips excitedly.

With a short hiss, 4 lizardmen went out from their hiding place and tried to stab Millie. To avoid the strikes Millie ducked and dropped her body real low to the ground, and launched a counterattack. Using the recoil of her quick duck she sprung her body and moonsaulted a still-airborne lizardman to its lower jaw. Due to the leaping lizardman’s inertia coupled with Millie’s moonsault force to its opposite direction, its neck couldn’t bear the impact and snapped in that instant.

As she landed, she quickly twisted her body on pivot, delivered a strong left roundhouse kick to a lizardman on her right. Her kick hit its temple and crushed its right eye along with its cheekbone. She didn’t stop, using the momentum she continued her twist and threw a leaping reverse roundhouse to the next lizardman, similarly crushing its right eye and cheekbone. Once again, landed on both feet, facing to the last lizardman which was still stunned by the sudden retaliation, Millie took her daggers out and rapidly lunged forward, stabbing its stomach and followed by disembowelment left and right. With this, 4 lizardmen were easily exterminated.

But to her surprise, a lizardman concealed behind the last one suddenly leaped and pounced her down, pinning her torso and arms. Before she could do anything, the lizardman bit her neck and aimed for his windpipe. Once again, Millie placed her bet on a dangerous way. She could not dodge, therefore she put her neck forward. As the result, the lizardman bit her whole neck, but she saved her windpipe from being ripped off. There was another danged incoming, which was the likely of her neck detached from her torso. Feared the worst, she quickly clad her legs with aura and kneed the lizardman’s butt. It was a success, the lizardman loosened its bite due to the surprise and with another knee to its ass, she broke free from the disadvantage position. The lizardman were slightly launched onto air and she quickly brushed it off her body. But she couldn’t be relaxed as her neck was holed by numerous bite wounds on both sides, her blood was running down her neck like crazy. She touched her neck and using her own blood she closed off the wounds as an immediate treatment.

The rest of the lizardmen showed up, and once again using the typical many-against-one tactic, they surrounded Millie to cut her escape path. But this encirclement was far from perfect. One, a lizardman was hindering the formation due to it rolling on the ground holding its ass. Two, with only 6 members minus one (rolling on the ground in pain) their numbers were too few to do a good encirclement. Three, due to the vegetation around them, there were plenty of gaps provided.

She stood up and was ready to fight all of them but none of them made a move. So, once again Millie provoked them. She approached the incapacitated asslizard and stomped its tail, her feet was still clad in aura it generated enough force to rupture the tail’s flesh and bone. Witnessing such cruelty towards their own kind, the lizardmen flinched. But disappointed by the lack of reactions, Millie once again moved. This time she aimed for the head. One heavy stomp, and the head was blasted off like watermelon. The sheer intimidation produced by such gruesome scene was forcing them to instinctively took a step back. They were afraid of her.

Millie didn’t miss their reaction, she quickly threw her daggers each to different lizardmen’s feet, nailed them down. She then touched the lizardman’s blood below her feet to form 3 throwing knives, one for each lizardmen left. To her surprise, lizardmen’s blood were thin and fiting for forming throwin knives. The knives lodged totheir feet were very firmly nailed to the ground, preventing any of them to force their escape out.

The hunters became the hunted. With the situation turned against themselves, they tried to intimidate by flailing their crude weapons and hissed loudly. Ignoring their weak intimidation Millie leisurely formed a sharp, thin sword similar like chinese flexible sword from the puddle of blood beneath her. She wasn’t sure this sword could slash them properly, but she tried it anyway after reaffirming the throwing knives on their feet. The lizardmen became mere makiwaras* for her sword trial.

(ooc note: makiwara is a punching log used by karateka to train their fists and mentality, they punch a makiwara until their fists break but don’t stop.)

Few moments later, Millie stood on front of shredded corpses. The blade couldn’t cut through their thick muscle, but enough to penetrate skins and blood vessels. Her surroundings became pool of reptilian blood. Once again, her body was dirtied by blood splashes, but at that time she couldn’t care anymore since she needed to hunt another species, and probably be splashed by their bloods once again. She collected their fangs as the subjugation proof and didn’t find any valuables from their bodies. She was slightly tempted to bring back some meats but in the end she didn’t know if their meats were edible or not, so she left without it.

Once again arrived at the Great Plains, Millie wandered around in search for bar warriors. Since she didn’t know their habits she could only randomly walk, hoping for a boar warrior or two entered her sight. It wasn’t working well as most of her encounters were with small groups of goblins, which were easily dealt with one quick kick for each goblins. Lucky for her, they sometimes brought health potions and some small changes. Her loot wasn’t all that bad.

Until, finally, she spotted two boar warriors from afar. They were dragging something that looked like a bloody corpse. At first Millie thought it was one of the bandits she killed before, but then she remembered that they were ealready eaten by the kobolds. Not to mention the dragged corpse’s blood was still dripping fresh… She glanced around and found a huge trace of blood, also went to the boars’ direction. She followed them silently and discovered their den. A formation of big rocks arranged roughly with a simple bonfire in the middle of it. Above the bonfire, there was a pole. Millie then understood that it was also the cooking tool for them. They were in preparation to grill one already butchered horse, and the corpse was in the middle of being stripped naked.

She counted the boar warriors, there were 6 of them. All of them were busy preparing their meals and Millie judged that time was right to do a surprise raid. Touching the trails of blood on the ground, she formed throwing knives slightly bigger than before. She immediately threw one for each boar warriors, aiming for open fatal points. Unfortunately due to bad position and longer distance, she couldn’t kill all of them. There was only one boar warrior died from penetrated spine, but the rest were either lodged on their backs or bellies, far from fatal. Lamenting the result, Millie groaned and rushed into the den. Taking the advantage from their shock, Millie quickly kicked a belly with scarlet knife stuck on it, driving the knife further. Moving to her side by a quick step, she kicked the back of the boar’s knee which was facing opposite way, forced it to kneel abruptly. She then mounted it, coiled both hands around its neck, and twisted its head.

One boar was recovered from its confused state and immediately grabbed its crude cleaver and swung down towards Millie. The blade didn’t meet its intended destination, instead it cleaved the already dead boar warrior which was beneath Millie. An upward kick to its elbow instantly snapped it, and the merciless Millie continued the bone breaking spree with its right knee as the next aim. Helplessly fell forward, Millie leaped up and her strong flying knee shattered its whole jaw.

Just then, Millie saw the rest were trying to flee. “Who permits you to run away, ya!?” she took out her pair of daggers and dashed to the nearest boar warrior and slashed its throat from behind. Using its blood, she made her right dagger a scarlet sword and ran to the other fleeing boar. With the lengthened blade she stabbed its calf and it fell down. She then whacked off its head quickly and searched for the last survivor, but it was already far away. “Ara… well, I guess I can let it go since I’ve slain enough. Yareyare… I was careless, ya~” she shrugged her well toned shoulders, trying to cheer herself up.

Once again hoping for extra gold, she skinned their hides after did a poor job of draining their blood. To her surprise, these boar hides were thicker and seems like more reliable to be used as light armor rather than kobold hides. And after contemplated about it, she regretted that she forgot to collect the lizardmen’s hides. To make up for her blunder she collected the butchered horse meats and the boar warriors’ meat. When she inspected the human corpse’s torn clothes she found a purse of gold. It was quite a good find, and she was joyed. At least she wouldn’t worry about lodging and food for some days…

Millie went back to the Frontier Village, and she got frowned upon due to her refusal to help repelling the undeads. “Does it matter, ya? Look, the other adventurers are here protecting ya guys, yanno. So long, folks~” she said lightly, and walked to the teleport device. But before that, she dropped the horse meat she got. “Ara, I dropped it, ya. I guess ya folks can enjoy meat tonight~”.

Back to Aeternus, Millie didn’t go straight to the Adventurer’s Guild HQ but instead finding stores to sell her loots. Weapons, armors, half of the hides and meats. She kept the pair of daggers for her own because the quality was quite good and she found them very handy in battles. Her total earning from her loots were enough for her lodging and food for a week without relying to guild quest, and she was quite satisfied. She could use the guild’s payment for equipments and clothings. As she happily thinking about such stuffs, she found herself in front of the receptionist desk, ready to report about her first journey as an adventurer.
notes: got a pair of dagger, kobold hides, boar warrior hides, a pair of battered bracers, a pair of battered shin guards, 2 health potions.
the looted gold will be used for her daily necessities.

You seem to be quite ruthless on your fights Millie-chan, it would be good if you were a bit nicer to the people of the Frontier Village, but at least you didn't cause any trouble.

Oh, and you can use the inn near the guild for free lodging, in case you don't want to spend on a place to stay.

Everything seems to be in order, so please receive 540g as a reward for completing your quests! I hope you can keep on enjoying your life as an adventurer!

    Gallant Mine - #GE1 - E-Ranked – Mine Ice Crystal [ 80G | 1 x Ice Crystal Shard ]
    solo
    =============================================================
As I went out of the Adventurer's Guild I thought to myself, 'I have to do this.' I was so distant to most and I thought that I might be able to be a new me when I start an adventure like this. Shivers went up my spine but not because I was nervous nor scared but that I was excited to start this adventure, to start a new me.

While I was still in the city I asked around the cityfolk in which direction the Gallant Mine is supposed to be. When I gained enough information, I headed out. On the first few hours of my expedition I still have not reached the Gallant Mine, I had traversed a forest and saw a beautiful elk standing in the forest while the bright sunlight illuminate the white crystal-like horns of the elk. As I did not wish to disturb such beauty I carefully walked in the silence of the forest.

After a few more hours of walking I finally reached Gallant Mine, I was a bit overtaken as I saw how deep the mine was and I saw many of the same species roaming around the mine. I already imagined how difficult this quest could take, and I simulated how things would go so that I would know what I should do. I went inside the mine, and went past a snow goblin, I had no equipment to use since the Thorn I have would just simply float around me, I did not know how to use it properly yet. I have found a good spot to mine away the Ice Crystal so I used the sharp part of the Thorn and continuously hacked away till I got the Ice Crystal [Ice Crystal x1]. The sound I made hacking away at the crystal echoed throughout the entire mine, almost every monster heard the loud clanging noises made by me. I was pretty deep in the mine so it was definitely harder to get out, as I was running out of the mine before I knew it, I was surrounded by 4 ice golems and many snow goblins, I instantly knew what I should do, I used my skill teleport to get out of the circle of monsters and the monsters were dumbfounded but alas a goblin looked at his back and saw me running and screeched. I had lost them fortunately but I was pretty lost in the mine since all I did was run away silently.

I wandered in the mine hopelessly and as I went in an intersection I bumped a goblin and I instantly reacted and teleported to the back of the goblin and used my Thorn to stab the throat of the goblin so that no sound was to be made, I was pretty ruthless with my actions but since I was hopelessly lost, my conscience had no say with my actions. This continued on for about half a day, I killed goblins[ 3 gold, 1 pair of rusty daggers] I met and ran away if there were to many or if there were golems, I finally found the exit from the mine and my frowning face turned into a smirk and I ran out of the mine with my watery eyes and with a large smile on my face. I walked back to where I was and found myself in the forest again, it was nightfall, and my tummy was growling, I found the magnificent elk once again and before I thought I already teleported and was on top of the elk and sneak attacked the elk, I killed it, removed its horns[ Elk Horns x2], cut open its body, made a fire, and roasted the elk. I ate the elk meat and when I was full I found a nice small river and got naked and cleaned myself, washed my bloody clothes and drank some water, I let my clothes dry on a branch of a tree and I slept nude on the side of the tree, I awoke with birds chirping and the sunshine in my eyes, my clothes were dry and I clothed myself once again and prepared to go back to the city.

When I reached the city I walked around the plaza first to find some stores that I'd sell the daggers and the elk horns to, and when I was done with my affairs I headed back to HQ and delivered the Ice Crystal. All was well and done and I took a nap on a bench just outside of HQ as if I was a beggar, my Thorn flew around me so none dared disturbed my nap.

    note: rusty daggers[sold, 2 gold] 2 elk horns[sold 6 gold] <------can I do that?

your story is good, but note that your kills there won't be counted for quest completions.
i suggest you to take some additional slaying quests if you want to write something like that, so your efforts will be properly rewarded next time =3
also, a little bit of extra golds and loots is acceptable as long as you make the story sensible, like how you did there. good job~

    @LittleFox21

I woke up from my short nap, only to find some prying eyes staring at my Thorn flying around me, I didn't care about their envious gazes but I felt violated somehow so I decided to get another quest. I went inside the HQ and with my sharp ears I overheard that you can have up to 6 quests at a time. I felt very embarassed as I laughed silently in my heart.

I looked over at the quest board, my eyes were hovering around like a bee searching for quests that fit my rank. I saw 6 quests that needs me to go to a place called Desert Village and fortunately they're all E rank quests! I unhesitantly took these 6 quests and asked the Adventure guild staff called LittleFox21, and she granted me the request. I asked her for the directions and she directed me in a map to the direction.

"I guess you don't need to have to hunt information for the quests." I chucklingly said.

I left HQ and saw a peculiarly looking cat staring at me and I felt that it was trying to direct me to follow it, as the curious kind of person I am, I followed it, it lead me right to the slums of the city. It entered an abandoned house and I normally followed inside, it was dark, I couldn't see a single thing and suddenly candles started to lit and I found a slender fit young looking woman in black robes and a cute hat that looked like the cat I pursued.

The woman flicked her fingers and I suddenly felt like being sucked in an empty space, I just stood there and saw my surroundings disappearing into darkness. New things started to pop up, I saw treasure boxes, rare elixirs, cages that contained mysterious beings inside,

alchemy pots, cauldron and many rare and exotic materials that one would not find just anywhere, I looked behind me only to see the door behind me is gone and has been replaced by a vast empty space, I asked calmly the woman in front of me, "Why did you bring me here?".
The woman replied " I learned that you are a mage with great affinity with the void element." I was surprised that she knew after all I never used my magic at the city before or in public. The woman said "You may be wondering as to how I learned that you have void magic, I felt a new slight disturbance in space some time ago, and I used my clairvoyance and found you teleporting about in the Gallant Mine. Oh, I forgot to tell you my name is wY$ks!kn& but you can call me Master Celty. From now on you are my disciple!" I couldn't understand what her real name was but it didn't bother me, I never knew what my real identity was since I just found myself in the outskirts of this city. I just found out that I was a Void Mage.

I understood that if I refused to be her disciple I wouldn't be able to get out of this place and If I made her my master I might me able to learn of my origins. I said, "Yes, master!".

We chatted for a bit and she later gave me a scroll and she told me to learn it. She also gave me a book of unknown language and she told me I need to learn this language before I could learn how to use more Void Magic, she then waved me goodbye and I didn't understand what was happening but before I knew it I was outside the city.

I then started to head towards the Desert Village. It was a long journey and it was already nightfall, I then found a place to set camp and I then decided to learn the book that Master Celty gave me. As I opened the book full of unknown language and then I entered a trance and I saw unknown words rushing into my I mind. I found myself in a space inside my mind similar to the place I was in with Master Celty except it was empty.

A thought came into my mind and I learned it was my Mind Space, I could store all kind of things and also mysterious beings. I saw that mine had a boundary unlike Master's which was endlessly spacious. The scroll master gave me suddenly popped up in hands and then the unknown language became runes in the boundary in my Mind Space and I learned a new skill called Black Hole, currently it had the force of over 300 pounds. I was extremely overjoyed since I finally had an offensive skill, I was acting like an assassin the whole time but I was meant to be a mage.

When I got out of my Mind Space I saw that it was already morning and that I felt fully rested. It was as if I was sleeping when I was in my Mind Space.

I continued my expedition toward the Desert Village.

As I was traveling I went in and out of my Mind Space so that I could get the hang of using it. I also used Black Hole to the tree I saw whilst traveling and tree trunk exploded and the tree fell, I was guilty of destroying a tree so I sped up my pace as if I was running away.

I finally reached the Desert Village and met some children playing near the village and I greeted them. They took me to the adults and I told them I was here for a quests, they took me the village elder and he told me the locations of the monsters I was needed to slay.

The adults of the village led me to a camp of Large Lizards and Scarabs. They bade me farewell and they said " Good luck adventurer."

With those 3 words I finally felt like a real adventurer and that people depend on me, I was ecstatic and felt adrenaline rushing through my veins.

I went to a rock near the camp of monsters, I slit the throats of the Large Lizards that came near me. I killed 4 Lizards with this tactic. Finally the lizards took notice of their missing comrades and they became more careful with this along with the scarabs. I was very alarmed with this happening. I saw a bunch of scarabs coming out of a large hole and I finally decided to show myself and I used my black hole in the hole the Large Scarabs were coming out of, 5 Large Scarabs were killed with this. The Lizards started attacking not much soon after my attack and I teleported away from its assault up to its back and sliced its neck with my Thorn, and the other and the other. Then the scarabs started attacking and I jumped to the back of one of the scarabs and used Black Hole to kill 2 Lizards and 4 scarabs. I stabbed the nape of the scarab I was riding on and threw my Thorn to the last remaining Lizard. I collected the loots and gained [6 gold, 1 stone spear, 16 scarab wings, 5 ragged cloth].

Not soon after I finished collecting the loot a massive swarm of Scorpions started emerging from the ground, I teleported away and counted the amount of the Desert Scorpions and saw there were 30 of them, the exact amount of scorpions I needed to kill for the quest.

I used Black hole in the middle of the scorpions and killed 12 of them. I teleported to the side of the mass of scorpions and sprinted and cut off the poisonous tails of the scorpions in the frontline. I jumped on top of a tailless scorpion and jumped once again and used black hole to the scorpions of the back line and killed 8 of them and I stabbed with the Thorn the tailless scorpion I jumped on. I then massacred the remaining tailless scorpions. I gained [12 Desert Scorpion Venom].

I went back to the Desert Village and went to a grocery shop there. I traded 12 Desert Scorpion Venom for a bundle of Millet, Wheat and Barley. I then traded my stone spear for an Ice Cabbage and a basket of Desert Figs.

I traversed the Village for a while until dusk and I went to a nearby inn and slept in for 3 gold. When I woke up I went back to the to city since I was very tired and reached it safe and soundly without encountering any kind of disturbance along the way. When I finally reached the city I went to a shop and sold my Scarab Wings and ragged clothes for 11 gold. I went to the slums to show Master Celty that I learned a skill only to find out she's gone. I thought that it was normal since I could tell she is a very great mage and that many people depended on her so she would normally be gone. I headed to the Adventure Guild HQ and passed down my quest and I finished my quests. I went to the tavern and drank some beer until I felt sleepy to celebrate my quest completions and I headed to a nearby inn to sleep soundly.

    note:
    [14 gold]

    good day, deri~
um... the development is... oh well you found a master and that's good thing, deri.
    the quests... um.
the slaying quests are done, but i'm afraid i have to fail the harvesting quests, deri.
the quests were to "gather" and "harvest", not to "buy" or "obtain" deri.
it was so that the adventurers will lend a hand to help with villagers' harvesting, deriyo?
i'm sorry, but your reward will be 120G deri.
please be careful next time, deriyo.
if you aren't clear with the quests, feel free to ask the staffs or the other adventurers, deri.

Just wanted to point out that Onee-chan's name isn't LittleFox21, it's Dancchi, LittleFox21 is her username, please remember to refer to the character's name next time, it helps on immersion.

Nice to see that you're enjoying the guild, hope you continue to play around and have fun here!

    There are non-human slaves?
    A cockroach.
It feels like that, whenever my avatar meets yours, I need to take over his body, and run for his life.
Why not just use her as your lackey?

    Pre-Raid

    Aboard the Aeternus.

On my way out of the tavern to meet Fry, I was greeted by the Guild Master's mysterious mother-in-law. Honestly, just how old was she when she had Hiki? Remembering how this chaos priestess once removed my curse, I bowed my head in gratitude and greeted her. Patting my head and giving a warm smile, and I was given a "cute bag of Mon cookies". Gratefully accepting it, I pressed forwards towards Fry's meeting point.

Ya-haroo~ Let's take the teleporter to the Desert Village and try out the new toy I got those elder dwarves~
It's rare of you to suggest teleportation Ton-sama. Did you perhaps eat something off the ground again?
Pfff~ Rubbish, and it only bounced off of the ground once, so it doesn't count!

Discontent I dragged Fry through the teleporter and arrived at the Desert Village. Looking around I headed off for the tavern, while Fry left for the markets. Entering the tavern and heading for the barkeep I noticed a group of people causing a scene, upon further inspection I recognised that one of the groups were Robert's adventurer group, who are an Aeternus' based Adventurer group. Questioning the barkeep, it turns out that the mercenaries were harassing Robert's female member which lead to this argument. As I approached to join in the fun stop the commotion, both parties noticed my presence and stopped. What I noticed in their eyes were awe, shock and mostly fear, the mercenaries gave Robert a meaningful look and swiftly left the tavern.

With those troublemakers gone I can finally relax and let Fry organise the local rumours. After grabbing a seat by the fireplace, a waitress approached and served me a mug of camel milk on the house. It tasted more gamey and salty than regular milk, but it was refreshing nonetheless. Seeing me finish my mug Robert approached me with another one, passing it to me and taking a seat on the other side we caught up.

Damnit Ton! I haven't been seeing you around lately, how've you been?
I've been fine, I suppose? What abo- Actually, before any of that, I've noticed something weird lately and I've been meaning to ask. Why haven't I ever seen you or your group in Aeternus' Adventurer's tavern?
What? No, ummm, well... a long story short... There are actually two taverns on Aeternus, one is directly managed by the Guild Master while the other is managed normally.
Normally? Wait. What's the difference between the two?
Ha ha ha, I'm not too sure myself. But from the rumours, apparently if you want to keep your body intact you should never approach the Guild Master's place.
Eh, really? That sounds pretty farfetched to me, I'm pretty sure they're just baseless rum-
There have been multiple accounts of chaos sorcery being discharging randomly, sentient moving bloody armour, magical explosions, multiple stabbing incidents, crazed cultists worshiping some sort of fake goddess, a perverted lit-
Yep. That's enough thanks, I understand. Sigh, is this what Aeternus really think of us... cough. Um, so what are you doing in this town?
We're preparing to escort a merchant to Delta Town!
    Oh? That's quite uncommon, isn't that a mercenary's job?
I thought so too, but for a one way trip the pay and conditions are quite good. Since we were headed for Delta Town anyways we thought that we might as well just do it.
Sigh, your group of merry friends should be more careful on the road.
Ha ha ha, don't sweat it~ You worry waayyy too much. It's a shame that you only act like this when Fry-san isn't around~
Oh, shut it ya brat. You've pissed off those mercs earlier, it doesn't look like you'll have an easy time. Why don't you just giv-
Thanks Ton, I don't mean to rub you the wrong way, but unlike the deviants that go to your tavern, almost every other adventurer in Aeternus work in groups. Besides, with George guarding the front, Jess watching our backs and Eric scouting ahead, we should be fine~ And lets not forget to mention that I'm a magic swordsman or that our teamwork is impeccable since we were all raised together.
So these will be your famous last words?
Oh please~ By the way, what are you doing here?

After that pleasant encounter I learnt that a majority of the pest were located south, collecting Fry from the market we headed towards the south gate. It was high noon when we reached a large sand dune outside of the village, crouching down I touched the the sand with my palm. Yeah, if the surface is this hot I'll probably need to wait until nighttime for the foxes to come out or find their burrows. Fufufu, but I guess this is why I brought this little toy with me, regardless of where they're hiding they should all be underground at this time.

Equipping the Strike Freedom Body Armour (SFBA) prototype, I activated the thrusters launching myself in the skies and engaged the Multi Lock-On System. Taking note of the lifeforms within the proximity, I called out for Fry to compress the gravity of the surrounding areas. In doing so we are creating more resistance in the surroundings by condensing the empty spaces between particles, hence effectively controlling and reducing the damages to a small scale. So without further adieu I blasted a crater, reducing the sand and pest into a bowl-shaped glass crater. Unfortunately, in order to reduce the impact on the eco-system I could only incinerate one small area at a time.

The final results were 11 Large Lizards, 10 Large Scarabs, 17 Grey Desert Foxes, 67 Desert Scorpions and 15 new glass craters around the village. Leaving 15 glass craters laying around randomly would be too suspicious, I'll add some symbols, lines and patterns. Yep, they look like authentic UFO markings to me~ After a job well done and Fry's unnecessary nagging, I unequipped the SFBA prototype and headed back to the village.

Who would have thought that I'd be welcomed by Kent at the entrance, Kent was the spice merchant I got on friendly terms with while I was traveling down to Delta Town during my first quest. Apparently he was the one that hired Robert's group to escort him, as we still regularly kept in contact and his niece was recently saved thanks to my input, he easily let me hitch a ride.

Surprisingly the trip cut short when a malicious band of mercenaries baited a hoard of Desert mongrels to attack our caravan. As these mercenaries/thieves encircled us and started their provocation, we started getting worried. But out of no where, they finally said those magic words. Getting hyped I crawled onto the the caravan, and posing with the sonic screwdriver I've stolen, I started the reenactment of one of my favourite scenes.

You're trapped! Get prepared to be slaughtered!

Smiling Yeah. Trapped. And you know what? Speaking of traps, this trap’s got a great big mistake in it. A great big whopping mistake!
WHAHAHA! It seems that you've already gone mad, but don't worry, your body will be fine with us! HAHAHAHA!

    Looking at Robert Trust me?
    Yeah.
    Looking at Kent Trust me?
    Always.
Looking at the non-combatants You lot, trust me?
    We have faith ma'am.

Facing the enemies before me I’m about to do something incredibly stupid and dangerous. When I do, duck.

You brat, let me play along. Now what was it again? You mentioned a mistake we’ve made.
My smile grows wider A big big mistake. Really huge! Didn’t anyone ever tell you? There’s one thing you never put in a trap—if you’re smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow—there’s one thing you never ever put into a trap.
And what would that be, little lady?
Building up everything for this final moment Me.

I leapt into the air and in a stunning flash, everything surrounding the caravan was carbonised.

    Sigh
, I got too excited and broke the sonic screwdriver, but it looks like I've burnt 11 bandits, 33 Desert Jackals and 26 Desert Foxes. Leaping down I noticed that I was finally recognised as an object of fear by the non-combatants, looking around no one dared to return my glaze. This wasn't the first time, as I was making my way to the back two palms slammed into my back.

Smiling broadly Kent jested Ya, Ton. Why tah long face. Ya saved us all ya did.
Robert smiling and unable to read the mood Sorry Ton, but you should try doing a slow mild rare next time...
Sigh, I guess this wasn't too bad Hey, hey, hey. Did you catch a glo-
Ton-sama I've just received news from Aeternus! It has to do with the undead, we're need at the pass right away!
Laughing loudly Here, take a couple of my salt and iron sand barrels. My payment for a job well done! Come by our Old Delta for a drink some time! HA HA HA!
Worried Robert gave a nod We'll be with you shorty after we finish this mission

Thanking them and breaking off; I activated my suit and headed for the pass.

    BIEL
    REACHII

Last night when we were eating Dinner, Rea asked us if we wanted to take a break.
There has been some time since we last had some days to rest and fool around~~

As Dan and Hii have been working, I was preaching at the new temple, and Eun and Rea were busy too~~

    We all agreed with it~
I love to spend some time with my lovely family~~

we discussed a bit about what to do~
And decided to go out to find a new place to eat~~

    we are going separeted~~
Dan and Hii will go together~
    I will go with Rachii~~
And Eun with Alb and Wee~~

After having a good and relaxing bath~
    We slept.

    ==================================================================

I woke up early this morning~
    To choose what to dress~
I may not be good at it~ But I have to do my best~
It's a day alone with Rachii~ going out to eat~~
It's kind of like a date~ NO! it is a Date!!

    I put a long lace black dress~
Its upper part was tight, and with some see-through parts
(I used body alteration magic to make my plot a bit bigger~ but that is a secret)
It's lower part had a side cut which showed my left leg.
Creating a contrast with the white of my skin, and the black of the dress...

And coupled with the golden circlet on my thigh~
And the golden necklace with purple gemstones.
    It surely must be sexy~
    FuhFuhFuh~~

I wait for Rachii to get dressed~
As we Will be going to Delta Town~~

I think we're the only group that thinks of vacations so soon after the undead attack. Well, the casualties were kept to minimum and the adventurers got some live combat training as planned so it's fine I think? Just Biel or I can end the whole thing in seconds but we can't do that forever.

Now for hunting lunch materials... Biel want a giant crab so we'll have exactly that today! I dressed as usual and meet her in front... only to find her wearing a really beautiful dress that accentuated her chest.

    I blushed.

    "I... should I change..?"

Looking at her beautiful blushing face I couldn't help myself from Giggling~~
From the look she like my dress~~
    She liked it!

    HeHeHeHe~~
    I am soo happy I could scream~!

I look at her eye, and give her a smile that shows how happy I am to see her~

    "regardless of what you wear~~
    You are stunning beautiful~~"

I slowly approach her, making my best to look sexy~
and softly place my hand on her cheek

"We have all the time in the world~~
and for me~ you can wear whatever you feel comfortable with~~"

I give her a light kiss.

I happily kissed her back, getting hotter by the second even as she started pushing me against the wall. Then we tangled further, and my shirt's getting unbuttoned...

"U-uwaaa! We have to go, time's running out!"

Dangerous, dangerous. I barely managed to push her off. The others will be mad if we're late!

    I giggle even more~
I almost lost Myself here~ But I have to say it was worth~~

Seen her act like that made me happy~
Racchii~ Eun and Dan are all soo~ beautiful and cute~
Soo for someone like me to be able to make Rachii get that flustered~~

    HeHeHe~~
The power of clothes is amazing~
I should try to wear something nice tonight too~~

Smiling I say while buttoning and straightening her clothes again.
"Sorry~~ it's just that you are too beautiful~~
We can't let them wait for too much~~
but do you want to change~? or you prefer to go right away~?
If you want I think I can talk a bit with them~ so you have time to do it~~"

    "L-let's just go!"

I blushed even more. As if she could possibly hold back seeing me stripping...

    *giggle*
I don't really know what I did for her to get that red~
    But it sure was cute~~

    "Yes~ let's go"
Taking her hand I give her a bewitching smile and interlock our finger.

"I think They should be at the hall~"

    ========================================================================

After descending to the hall, we met with everyone~

I am quite pleased, with the gaze they gave me~
    Hahaha~
    They complimented me~
Such a beautiful girls said I was beautiful~
The power of clothes us dreadful~
    I love my family~<3

I teleported everyone to Delta Town plaza, and we separated there.

As we are going to make a picnic tomorrow, each if the groups had to find, some of the ingredients we are going to use~

Me and Rachii, went to the beach to find a good grab~
It's better to finish the work fast~
So we can enjoy the Date~

While we were flying (because I don't want sand in my dress before the date even starts) we saw a bit far in the water a strange big rock....

When I used my Life-force detection, I see that it's not a rock, but a crab....

Hey! Are crabs supposed to be bigger than a carriage~?

"It's a giant crab! It's a giant giant crab! It looks sooo delicious!"

Perhaps sailors would see it as shipwrecker, but for both of us, it's nothing but a delicious delicious meal! I picked the crab out along with a huge blob of seawater so it stays fresh until Eun can start cooking it, snagging a recently sunk ship along with it.

"Oh, looks like it nabbed that ship. I wonder what's in there~?"

I was almost drooling while thinking about Eun's food...
    When I saw a ship!

    "Ehhhh!? A ship?!
    The crab snagged a ship?...."

As Rachii said there should be something inside it...
Well, it's exciting to look for what is inside~
And my curiosity was also at its peak by now...

    "Hey~ sweet~
Do you think you can separate both~?
    I will immobilize the crab,so he doesn't flee~
And We can then enter ship~"

I say while appointing to a suitable place on the beach to put both

Eeeee enter the ship?! It's damp and smelly and filled with sea critters and whatnot!

"Nope! Nonononono, not entering that. I'll take it apart here and you pick up anything you find interesting yeah?"

Without waiting for her reply I changed the telekinesis, pulling the ship off the crab's grip while taking it off one plank at a time. The debris rapidly fell into the sea as I let Biel point out the interesting stuff.

"Oh hey, the captain went down with the ship. Salute to you good sir~"

    I blush at Rachii remark...
Yeah entering that on a date is definitely a "no go~"

I see her removing the planks, and
    Ahh~ the captain fell!

I laugh loud with her joke~

I see some things that looked like crates there.

    "Rachii take take that~"
Apparently, they were the ship cargo, maybe there can be something still good inside~

    "Hey~ isn't that a chest~?
It looks a bit rusty~ but there is some mark there~
Maybe it was used to keep coins?"

    "Ahh~
There there! It looks like there is something inside the floor~"

After she removed the floor, we see two big chests unlike the others there was no rust on it...
In fact, it didn't even look like it was under water...

Looking better at them, one is big and have a Purple hue in it...
Its borders are made of some strange black metal... And it's lock is really strange... I have a sensation I saw it somewhere... But I can't remember...
More important it emits a bit of mana, and for some reason, It looked like it pulses like a heart sometimes...

The second one was a bit smaller, made of some sort of black wood...
It has a red cloth in just a part of the upper part.
It is full of strange marks that emit magic, and instead of a lock it has a circle with marks, and the shape of a hand in the middle...
While it has an ominous feeling, I can tell that at least the magic it emits wasn't evil~

    "That's all I think? Let's go let's go let's go! Crab! Foooooood!"

    Giggling I answer her

    "Yes~ let's goo~"

I throw everything inside my shadow and Teleport us back to Delta Town.

Intertwining our fingers, and bringing her closer to me, I ask.
    "Hehehe~
    Where you want to go~?
There should be some good places to eat here~"
    Lot's of Crab~
Inside the Normal Chest, there were some silver coins ( That were Probably used to buy food)
There was Nothing good inside the Crates
    2x Big Chests
