I was nervous... I really didn't... I didn't want to do it... But... I had to... I couldn't endure it anymore... I waited until Shadow finished his job for the day and was going to go back to his airship... I stopped him.

"Shadow... May we talk?"
"Sure dear, what do you need?"
"Not here... Someplace more private..."
"Oh, we can go to the airship then-"
"Not... Just the two of us... No Chalusi, no Pyrhea, no... No Erdatiel either... Just us..."
"I see... Is my room okay?"

I followed him to his room quietly, every second felt like an eternity, I wanted to delay it as much as possible... I was afraid... I... I had to do it though...

Once we did arrive at his room, he turned towards me and I paralyzed... I tried opening my mouth, but... I couldn't... I couldn't say it...

However... Shadow waited... He waited until I was ready... Until I could talk... Such gentleness of him... I'm glad... I took a deep breath to try and calm down... It didn't work, but... I opened my mouth to start to talk.

"Shadow... I'm thinking... That maybe... This wasn't a good idea..."

"They aren't! They... Aren't... You never tell me anything... You barely stay any time with me... It's all Pyrhea, all Chalusi... All Erdatiel... Just... When was the last time we've talked outside of work hours dear?"

"We aren't even sleeping together anymore... You're staying with her and I'm... With Mama... At the temple... You're even leaving the Airship at the guild now... It was supposed to park near the temple, wasn't it?"

I turned around and walked away, I didn't dare to look back, nor did I see his expression the whole time... I was too afraid of what I would see...

I flew back home and cried on Mama's lap for who knows how long after it was all done... My first love... Was over...
