indulge in your hobbies to relax your mind, etc., but for them, the psychological barrier exaggerates the difficulty to a point where they can't conceive of a way to make any of that make them feel better. We are our own worst enemies. You can't solve peoples' problems with solutions :p

We must all muddle through them ourselves, but social support, reflection, etc. all do help. And above all, the person being helped needs to WANT to be helped in the first place.

yep, that's probably the hardest thing about the human condition to "solve" socially. Anyways, it was fun having this discussion with you, although I proly shouldn't have done it in that thread lol XD
