well, I wouldn't call them lurkers if they're commenting it's usually fairly active members who are bored that go through new profile posts to give unsolicited comments haha XD

Uhm... tbh... I thought status meant the text ppl have underneath one's name on the forums... thanks for the hugs tho >~<
You can also go to others profiles and make profile posts there; those wont be shown as your or their status though :'p There's a character limit, though. 140 for your own status, and 420 or so on everything else (reason why I'm breaking this apart, haha)
