I also used myself as your aunt @Shem's relieving meat-plush. I mean, if she stabbed anyone else they would die and she would get in trouble so I naturally offered my pain-numb body for the role.
You get used to it. I mean, you forget things so often that the usual sense that death is your ultimate goal goes away too. You forget your beginning, and therefore you cannot reach your end. This kind of thinking.
but is there really such thing as a beginning anyway? Or is it just the earliest we can remember? The earliest others remember us? What is a beginning if not the end of something else? To end you must begin something new.
There is your beginning as a person, and you need to know that beginning, if not your journey is not complete. One example is the maturity that old people display when in the end of their life. When you are immortal, your personality just gets kinda stuck. Why? Because you are not oriented towards an end neither towards an evolution, and people that have the journey complete do.
That works too. Try an impossible ideal like creating a world where no one cries or something like that. It keeps you occupied for some good ol' centuries.
Oh, Dragon God. I'm his friend. He got banned because he made a tread trying to recruit someone to be his apprentice. The thing is, he wanted an apparently extremely young individual and people interpreted this wrongly.
