I wonder why he's so excited about being able to turn into a fish. Is he planning to give up on humanity and go live in the ocean? I mean, sure, he could probably use his remodeling ability to turn cheap fish into extremely expensive fish, but he doesn't seem to have even thought of that yet.

Wow, I totally thought she was there to dump him. Normally, that's the first thing that happens in these stories if the MC is already dating someone, especially if they're way out of the MC's current league.

He was only level five. How did he remodel ten fish? Is it just a bad translation of the ability or what?

Why doesn't he just go to a lake and swim around in it? He should be able to basically wipe out all the fish in the lake in a day or two, and he'd only need to pay for the trip there and back. Of course, he should choose a lake that's regularly stocked by the government and go at an unpopular time of the year. That way, they'll be able to restock the lake in time, he won't be putting anyone out of business, and he won't have to deal with as many fishers and swimmers.

For a moment there, I thought there was PvP in the game he downloaded.

C9: She's already said that she's a virgin. How could she have a favorite position? At best, she could guess based on whatever porn she likes.

Also, why are all the questions from both of them sexual harassment questions?

I wonder if he'll try to go gambling with his ability. There are places that gamble on fish fighting right? I can't really think of any games in a casino where his panorama vision would let him repeat this little stunt after all.

I have a feeling that he's about to lose his girlfriend. He's doing just about everything wrong that's possible to do wrong after all. Well, short of actually cheating on her anyway, but some of the things he's done could be misconstrued that way fairly easily.

Anyone that can afford to spend $50k on ornamental fish and still plan to spend more isn't going to be a nobody, and he is definitely going to show them off, and the people he shows them to are definitely going to want to know where he got them.

Koi are also quite common. A person that's dropping that much money on ornamental fish doesn't want anything that could be labeled as common.

C20: I really thought he'd ask the koi shop owner about expensive varieties of koi so that he could properly price them when he sold them later. Giving a bad price to someone as influential as his current client is a very good way to destroy his business.

He really should have mentioned the fact that they could buy his fish via WeChat so that they wouldn't need to make the trip again. It would dramatically boost the odds of them actually buying them in the future, and might even lead to additional sales among their friends.

C21: This is really not how you impress ladies. Any lady that's impressed by you nearly killing someone and then screaming at your victim to pay you for the privilege of being hit by you is not a lady worth knowing, much less dating.

I wonder how long it's going to take for him to bring up the price of his fish. He has far more to lose from this accident than the idiot in the sports car once you consider them after all. Of course, there's also a chance that his client will drive by and fix everything, but I find that somewhat less likely.

Yeah, I'm really not clear on why he wants to live in the ocean as a fish, especially since his super hot and loving girlfriend still hasn't left him.

 

Yeah my expectations were lot higher when i saw the uniqueness of the system. But, wow that bombed.........fast.

 

If you are after complex literature, webnovels probably aren't the best place to look, especially ones from like Qidian where authors have to maintain constant releases or they lose popularity.

I used to from time to time, but I always felt frustrated by how many things the missed that deserved criticism, and how many things they focused on that didn't. I find that I greatly prefer CinemaWins.

Involving your extremely wealthy client in your relatively petty traffic dispute is a good way to irritate said client. If you're very lucky, this will only result in losing the client. If you're not, it could result in losing everyone that knows him or wants to know him as clients as well. Actually calling the guy is basically the stupidest thing the MC could do.

The damage to the car was along the side since the MC tried to dodge before they actually hit. It's why the guy can claim that the MC swerved in front of the car rather than away from it. The damage to the two vehicles actually supports both stories.

 

The police really should have stopped him and made him wait for the moron to agree to having his car smashed. Otherwise, they might get blamed for dereliction of duty or something later if the dumba** decides to complain, and since he's a dumba**, that's not an impossibility.

 

And another bit of foreshadowing that he and his girlfriend won't be a couple for long. I wonder if she'll dump him at the party? If she dumps him before the party, I fully expect him to show up to it in a fancy car with a fancy set of clothes and beautiful girl pretending to be his girlfriend, probably that magician girl that tried to scam him. I just really hope that the author doesn't try to pretend that it's her fault or try to punish her for "not having eyes" or whatever. He's clearly at fault here.

 

Clearly, though the system feel unique, the MC is missing a bit of common sense (and by a bit, I meant a lot). It just feel weird that he just what he thinks at the moment even if it's stupid and yet get away with it unscathed. Case in point--the car crash and the market flooding as stated earlier.

I hope he's not planning to sell remodeled fish as wild fish to restaurants. Unless he can alter their internal makeup, and the system helps him to do so so that the tastes match perfectly, doing something like that will destroy his reputation and the reputations of anyone that buys from him.

4 million yuan wouldn't really be enough to buy a good house in the city would it? I assume he's not going to settle for something small and/or sensible given his current attitude after all. I suppose it'd be enough for a down payment, but his credit is likely not good enough for a loan of that size, nor does he have sufficient collateral.

I wonder if the conversation with his girlfriend was meant to imply that she was cheating on him, to further drive home that he sucks at being a boyfriend, or both.

Then that call with his girlfriend really seems like a break up flag to me. Been wondering why it didn't happen right from the start when he's such a really bad boyfriend.

 

Honestly, every interaction they've had so far has been a breakup flag. I assume it didn't happen right from the start because the author wanted to make it clear that it was the MC's fault. At least, I hope that the author is self-aware enough that that's where this is going. If it goes the complete opposite direction and blames her entirely, I'll probably have to take it as a sign that this series isn't worth reading.

 

Haha yeah CinemaWins was refreshing but I agree with you. You sometimes are baffled by the sins he points out and by the obvious one that he misses.

*sigh* was hoping for something fun when it was said to be about system that turns mc into a fish. Makes me sad that this is just what happens.

I think I'll hate how the author would blame the girlfriend when the break up comes. It's so obvious that he's trying to make it seemed that she's at fault. Probably dropping this, too.
