Lol what was there to see...? The siblings just showed up one chapter then the next chapter he turned into the dark lord's minion.... No surprised there when there was nothing to foreshadow... author just shove that info down our throat lol

Once again I failed to predict the story and was not let down at all. A+ arc

 

There was plenty...Shi Xiaobai remembered Chen Lingcun, probably because of the Absolute Choice system (once Lingcun died and was of no use to the system, he forgot) but the was no reason for Ye Jiaquan to remember. Furthermore, if you stop and think about it, it was never explained how Hisith figured out Lingcun's identity. It's not a stretch for Jiaquan to have been the one to reveal it, and the letter to have been the damning hint.

Also, we know Ye Jiaquan is a spy - but Zeus had no need for a spy. All the other rookies were as embarrassing as Ye Jiaquan, and there was no reason for them to expect Shi Xiaobai. This begs the question of whose spy was he, exactly?

I am a bit disturbed by the thought of Nendou being an evil spy. I may not wholly enjoy Saiki Kusuo no Psinan ever again....

 

Second that... One of the few series.. the plot is so unpredictable...

There may be a connection to the seven sins, but they couldn't be the sins themselves because we know for a fact that until recently, Gluttony was sealed in Hisith's Underworld.

On that note, currently Gluttony is searching for the Original Sin. We saw in Hisith's Underworld, that every time the sword was removed from the ground Gluttony would head straight for Shi Xiaobai. This brings the implication that he is the Original Sin. This would make sense from a storytelling point of view and would allow us to peer further into Kali's character while at the last moment giving us a gratifying ending to the arc where Shi Xiaobai conquers the will of sin within him, "This King cannot be controlled by any under the Heavens! Only This King reigns supreme." However... There was an author's note in one of the chapter's which stated that "This King does not do cookie cutter plots!" This would certainly qualify as a cookie cutter plot and is thus null, leaving us with only two other options for the Original Sin and also bringing us to the crux of the matter...

Will the Original Sin be the sword loli, possibly being corrupted by gluttony after sealing it for so long, or will it be Kali, defeating her purpose entirely and giving us an interesting Absolute Choice along the lines of a) Save Kali or b) Slay the Original Sin?

Well we've already met one of the sins and he was trapped in a sword prison thing for a long time. Also, why would a sin want something as trivial as a dragon that is only so strong or just someone with potential like Xiaobai when they are going to destroy the entire world and give best girl Kali a hard time? Sunless is so precious. Kali is so precious. Even Riko and that Xiao Xiao are precious. Xiaobai best start saving money to buy engagement rings

I feel like Xiaobai is going to be next on this list. In its description it's going to say "Tu Duhai one-shot Heartless"
