Was wondering how good Absolute Choice is, don't get that much from the synopsis. Was wondering if it starts off slow during the beginning and picks up the pace, or if it starts off with a bang. (Also do not post on this thread if you're just going to bash the novel )
If you don't feel like the mc is a pretentious little prick in the first 10 chapters of reading, you should enjoy the novel. It's very binary, you'll either like this novel or you won't. Starts of a little slow, but there aren't a lot of chapters with no progress... I don't think. Usually SOMETHING is happening, even if its in the draggy 3 chapters for one fight chinese novel way.
I don't remember much from the beginning, I only know that I'm glad that I decided to read it. My only complaint is how many questions I still have about who and what Shi Xiaobai is.
The beginning is ok, the author has too many inserts of anime characters, however once you get past that it becomes really enjoyable and comedic. Just remember to not take the mc that seriously.
Which is actually good for later on as the author teases and teases. It means you've been hooked like a fish!
I personally found it to be pretty entertaining. There are lot's of misunderstandings within the story and chapters fly by really quickly. Also, Teemo sucks
It's good. The only problems I can think of would be the amount of trouble Shi Xiaobai gets himself into.
I kinda didn't give it much of a shot myself, pending reads list... The beginning kinda threw me with the kid.. and beating him to save him... Does it get better?
As someone who's read most of the books on the series ranking list and then some, I can honestly say that absolute choice is definitely one of the best. It has unique characters and I see often unpredictable. It has a really good pacing and the absolute choice mechanism is awesome and always has a great effect on the story
The summary does nothing good to the story... the summary about the thousand year old virgin made me "wtf"... made me think of an old ugly gross granny... Was also hesitating at first but it turned out to be good then got tested again when one pun man appeared but after that it's smooth sailing all the way...
"Make your choice, youth!" [ Choice 1: Read this novel until the end (S-level reward) ] [ Choice 2: Read this novel until around 60 chapters and then get addicted to it (C-level reward) ] [ Choice 3: Don't read this novel and suffer from one of the greatest regrets you will ever have for the rest of your life (F-level reward) ] "Make your choice, youth!"
There is a HUGE difference. You just can't see it. It is the decision that counts. The first option is for those with strong will-power and the second option is for those who are weak-willed. There are plenty of other differences as well. You just can't see it...
