I think this would be a good addition to the filtering service, so for example if you didn't want 18+ novels showing up on your feed, you could filter out groups like Machine Sliced Bread, or if you didn't like a group because of bad quality / bad reputation / other bad thing, you could filter out groups like wuxiadreams or qidian.

This feature should solve most of your problems once it's implemented -> http://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/view-chapters-by-translator-option.35190/

For now, you can use the release filtering to remove tags/genres you don't want to see on the main page (like R-18 and Adult), and you can add the series you don't want to see to a new reading list, and then set that list to not show up on the main release page.

Well I don't like the practice of QI but the thing that bothers me the most currently are that there are almost only QI novels on the main page. This makes it bothersome to check the other updates on other novels that are right in between 14 novels of a site I don't feel like supporting

you can afaik, let me check back in a moment with how to do it (assuming you can)

Ok before I check more thorogly, you can at least make a reading list and then make a seperate category, then in settings / options you can click "hide novels from main page" or whatever.

Then every time you see a novel you don't want to show on your updates, just add it to that reading list.

    Click the green button
    [IMG]

So go to reading list on NU home page, assuming you have a NU account, and then create a reading list, click on it (see how Reading is highlighted for me) then click on the green "local settings" in the top right corner. (It show as "hide settings" in the screenshot because I've already clicked on it)

To quickly add a novel to your reading list, go to the novel page of said novel.
Then just click on reading list and click on the category from the drop down (that you created earlier)

Check that thread. Currently, that's the solution for hiding QI releases.

Thanks but sadly I won't be able to see novels that I haven't read yet if I were to use the reading list, am I right?

    What do you mean?

Just in case you don't know this, on the reading list you can have multiple reading lists. So you can make a separate category for novels you don't want to show, all other novels will still show.

    [REMOVED]

if you login through facebook you can bookmark the novels you read from qi and just visit the bookmark page everyone once in a while to see the new chapters updated
    there is also [REMOVED]

both sites simply copy the chapter so they are not machine translated

P.s spread it around and destroy qidian

You do realize that you're being a hypocrite, right? This current outcry is because Qidian is copying content from Wuxiaworld... aggregator sites are copying content from hundreds of different translators INCLUDING Wuxiaworld.

What you're saying is basically.. "In my process to boycott Qidian, I'll fuck over every other translator, too." If you don't want to read their content, then don't read it. Going to and advertising aggregators harms everyone.
