~"A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, a lonely fellow, always hopeful of romance and adventure"~ Charlie Chaplin Welcome, Adventurer This is the Adventurer Guild, a Roleplay Game in which you will take the role as an adventurer of your choice. The world of Adventurer Guild is vast and strange. There is no such thing as a boring day. Even a day in the tavern is bound to be an adventure of itself. How to play this game: 1. Read this short advice written by one of our member Evil_Ginger for a good guideline in interacting with others in a Role Play game. And this AG Priestess Corner for some more information. 2.Register your character in The Adventurer Guild Member Registration. We encourage you to make a non-OP character as it will be better to climb the rank slowly. And we asked you to look around the tavern and the member list before making any new character just to see what the other member's characters are. Please use the form in this page. 3. You start as E-Ranked. Pick the quest according to your liking at The Quest Board. 4. Create the story. Ask the other member for their input if you have some difficulties. Reading others’ quest story is recommended so that the story will not clash with each other. 5. Submit the quest report in The Receptionist Desk. 6. Wait for the receptionist to appraise your report. Receive your reward and update your member card. 7. Have some crazy time in The Tavern. 8. Enjoy~! Hah...the best thing to do when joining any sort of group would be to wait. Charging right into the chat and saying whatever you want can disrupt previous comments unless people know you already. Here, we can discuss many random topics, but when you are starting out, you need to do things in an orderly fashion. 1. If there are any prior actions one must take before joining said group, go through all of the proper channels. Chances are everyone else did ,too. This helps document when you joined for future reference. In larger groups, this is used to show any sort of warnings, information, or events that the person joining needs to see. 2. After completing the registration, introduce yourself as much as is necessary. Joining and just participating can confuse current members. If you were to ask a question, no one would know your preferences or requirements. Other people don't know what you know unless you tell them. 3. BE COURTEOUS. People on the internet and in general are cautious of newcomers. There is always a fear of miscommunication and misunderstanding derailing the community. Once you get to know other people, you can start adjusting and acclimating not only you to the environment, but others to your personality. I hope this helps. P.S. if you want to add anything, please say so. I feel like these are important rules for internet etiquette. Please register your character on this thread before taking quests. Also, it's recommended to follow this template when registering: Given Name/Title: Gender: (male/female/undisclosed) (Must choose one) Race: Job/Class: Weapon: Skills: Equipment: Adventurer Rank: E (Don't change) Missions Completed: 0 (Don't change) Missions Failed: 0 (Don't change) Inventory: Gold: 0 (Don't change) As a general recommendation of the guild we advise for you to avoid making an OP character, as those can get boring extremely quickly for the player. And we also do not accept joke character as in character that can't be played. Guildmaster and staff (receptionist) has the right to accept and reject your registration. Lastly, God Modding is strictly forbidden, don't do it! Thank you~! ~Nothing is normal in AG. It is powered by an artificial mana heart that supply power to the whole island. To get to the island, there is a teleportation portal in the center of the city that connects to 3 different places: Delta Town, Desert Village, and Frontier Village. The guild is in bad term with the Holy Kingdom of Man in the East due to their human supremacist mindset. But we are not in a war situation. The guild is in alliance with the Half-Orc, the Ithlon Elven Tribe, the Tauren Tribe, the Kobold Trible (at the Frontier Village), the Tengu (at the flying island), and the Mermaid. The quest rank that can be taken is based on the lower most ranked member. For example, a D rank and an E rank go in a party, then the quest taking rule has to be E-ranked. 5. Partying is completed quests by joining other fellow adventurer. For the group with different rank, the amount of quest that can be taken followed the rule that applied to the lowest member of the group. By partying, the number of quest is still counted individually. For example, a partying consists of 2 member and take 6 quests. In the end, they will counted having finished 6 quests and 1 partying time. Upper member quest is quest completed by pairing with a member that has higher rank. For example, a D-Ranked member will pair up with at least a C-Ranked member for a single group quest. NOTE: This rule applies after this thread is made. There will be no change in the rank for any old member. But they have to follow this rule to get the next rank. Nothing is normal in AG. You included if you join.
