OOC: It's good~! I didn't read it before your edit but I find that the story does flow rather nicely. It may be overused but having memories (background for characters) come while they are in the present time and leading off from when they think back to their past makes a good link. A trigger for their past to be introduced. From what I have seen so far, you seem to be a descriptive writer with minimal dialogue as everything pretty much happens from the birds P.O.V. It nice in the way that we're only seeing the world from his view so of course it would be down at the level of his understanding of the world ^-^ I enjoyed reading it~

For every living being directly killed by the target, the effect grows stronger. It simulates a sea of blood that drags you down to drown you, but if you haven't killed many, you might just feel it as wading in blood slowing you down.

 

" Go ask Yoru. "

" I feel irritated for some reason."

 

Tene - "I will think about it."

Sentina - "Just irritated? Can you describe it in detail?"

 

" Hmm.... How to explain this. "
