I'm planning something that needs some materials, so I want to take these quests. Also, I can get pickaxes from the quartermaster, right? And is there anything I should be careful of in the Desert Mine?

 

Sure, you can get a standard pickaxe from the quartermaster, a higher quality one would need to be payed for, but you can get the standard ones without the need for that.

Careful? I don't think so, only the monsters that roam on the surroundings, but I suppose we always have to worry about that, don't we?

As for the map... Well, the map is kinda correct... If you look at my signature you'll see 4 links to maps... The 1st, 3rd and 4th are all the same actually, just with different resolutions... They have a few weird parts due to some trolls though, but are mostly accurate.

The 2nd is the official map, but it's somewhat outdated... Any of them give plenty of info to work with though.

Just remember that the Adventurer's City that is mentioned on the official map was already destroyed, what we have now is the Floating City of Aeternus as the guild's main HQ...

 

So I'm assuming then that since the official map does not include a river going from North volcano down to Junkyard then it probably doesn't exist; additionally, the Minotaur village, burnt/patch land, and raid memorial doesn't exist in the great plains, correct?

actually they do exist.

Raid memorial is a memorial for the old city was destroyed in a in game Raid

Burt land was caused by a adventurer in another raid.

the official map is a bit not actuallized because someone messed its latest version and we still didn't had time to actualize it
