it's arguable it attempts to deal with mature themes such as cheating and sex, but at the same time tries to seem light. The ending is no way light, so in conclusion it's not light. by light i am assuming you mean that it's targeted towards children.
To started with light daily life, then shock the audience with guro is a pretty common plot in anime/manga. E.g, higurashi, madoka, and unimeko. But I guess it is heavy for most. It precisely because they love Yun Che that they will become mad. Imagine that you have a girlfriend that you really love, but it turns out that girl has 3-4 other lover.
