    I've got amazon prime and figure i should try to make use of the free kindle stuff since the streaming options suck. Anyone know any good fantasy/scifi adventure stories? preferably more comedy than drama, doesn't have to be gag, just don't want doom and gloom stuff.

    also even if it's not on prime recs help. may get added at some point and if it looks really good i'll just fork out the 4$s lol

    Have spacesuit will travel
    Old mans war.
    Spacesuit is more exploration and comedy, its literally about someone who won an old spacesuit, fixes it up, and is later basically abducted.
    Old mans war is more of a soldier type novel, which has a good bit of comedy, drama, and intrigue. It has a rather realistic take on the world of humans in the future, given alien race meetings.

    If you have not read it already then try Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

    And Good Omens. It is about the coming of Antichrist but he is mixed up with another ordinary baby and a damon and an angel becomes friends to fix things up

    The Red Rising trilogy

    Sci-fi futuristic space odyssey that makes epics such as Achilles and Beowulf seem like bed time stories.

    Reminds me of a sci-fi Gladiator movie remake, however more likely will feel like the Spartacus tv show on meth.

    It'll be a roller coaster of intrigue and suspense either way.

    @Greedyspree thanks, spacesuit sounds interesting. top of my check list.
    @wolfeinstein24 already read hitchhiker, good omen sounds odd and amusing lol
    @MadHatter thanks for this one. would probably have overlooked it due to the default horror cover
    @Dont_Don red rising sounds cool. will look into it and i guess try not to get brainmelted based on the description xD

    and thanks to all for a surprisingly quick expansion of my reading list
