I thought it was bad enough that he let the one survivor from the Burning Heaven Clan go, (guess what he came back to cause trouble but due to some plot armor he did not decide to murder everyone) But now he let the Phoenix City go (that caused the death of thousands, oppressed his home country, killed his father in law, nearly killed his wife) why? because of the princess asked him to.. Now if that was not bad enough he lets go of the person WHO CAUSED LITTLE FAIRY TO DISAPPEAR IN THE FIRST PLACE and not only that hired people to go kill her. Not to mention she belongs to the same damn family that nearly killed his father, trapped his grandfather and the death of his adoptive father. Seriously, this man who murdered an entire continent to avenge his master lets her go because her son pops out of nowhere and threatens to kill himself. Seriously the series should be named from Against the Gods to "I became a little bitch"
He values friendship/family ... the reason why he killed millions is the same reason why he spared Fen Juechen & Co ... and the most important reason: PLOT.
Make your God damn minds guys either you are bitching about MC killing everyone and not showing any mercy to his enemies or you are bitching about the MC being very soft hearted because he let go of his enemies. Though after reading this I am glad I dropped the novel
You can always stop reading when u start hating the story ... Or just skip an arc ... Or u can take up a sword, kill a city like u wanted to, and then have fun?
really now, glad I dropped this a long time ago lol. ever since he let fen juechen go and I read a spoiler coming back to bite him in the behind. figured the author has this tendency in this plot.
Guess it was a good thing I haven't pick it back up again. I don't get why people would get annoy at MC killing without mercy, but I don't see anything wrong with being merciless. I rather MC kill off everyone and show no mercy rather than being soft hearted. MC being soft hearted is like they're asking for it..."Oh I'm going to let you go now so later on you can come back and cause more trouble for me and then I'll get to use my power through some kind of plot armor to defeat you...again"
