Hello, after I visit this thread on NUF, I wonder if we could make it possible to search the "Associated Names" of novels on NU's search. ex: I type "Egao de maryoku" on NU search bar, instead of no results, there will be the novel "Charging Magic With a Smile~ Infinite Magic Power After Being Reincarnated Into a Different World" with an Associated name "Egao de maryoku chāji mugen no maryoku de isekai saisei" as a Search result.
I love how this guy has 18 forum posts, but is more helpful and has a better idea than the whole 6 months I've been active here.
Wait. Searching for associated names brings no results? How come nobody discovered that yet? I mean - what do we have the associated names field for if not so that we could search with them? Do you mean that the result should be the associated name? Or the main name with the associated name attached underneath? I hope there was no sarcasm in that.
This is weird.... It used to work that way. I mean, I used to post raw name and find the novel but now I can't. Well, I hope this does get implemented tho.
Hi all, thanks as always for the great work and upkeep of the site! I was hoping the alternate titles (including the jp/cn/kr) titles of novels could be indexed in the series name search. It seems as if only the main title is indexed, so if I searched "honzuki no gekokujou" or "本好きの下剋上" for Ascendance of a Bookworm, then I'd get no search results. I think both of these are fairly common scenarios, at least the romanised vs translated version is something that happens when you see how it's mentioned differently on a different site or in how a translator might refer to it, etc. Often left wondering if the series doesn't exist on novelupdates or if I just didn't search the right keywords. Thanks for considering!
