It really doesn't matter. Just grab the cheaper one for the same specs. They even share the colour scheme. The only difference is the logo.
Owner of a GTX1080 PC and a ROG 1050ti laptop which I got on sale for $700

Depends on the product. If it's the most basic graphics card then yes, go for the cheapest

So am gonna guess your talking about laptops right... Since you haven't given any specific specifications, I can only advice on which brand you should get... Go with ASUS
Edit: if I was you, I would get the cheapest laptop with the graphics card I wanted.

above a certain price point. well gpus price has come down to the ethereum crashing but ram is still expensive. so around 1k its cheaper to buy pre-built or boutique.

I don't know about msi, but as an ASUS Rog and ASUS Zenfone owner, ASUS love bloatwares.

Didn't crash in most markets yet. Fucking RX580 still costs $150 more here than usual. Also, RX480, GTX 1060 and 1070 is completely out of stock in the IT malls here.
Also, RAM really isn't that expensive. 16GB DDR 4 for £110

For look pick ROG. For quality I'd prefer MSI, MSI never failed me 7 out of 10. While asus 4 out of 10. Avoid buy asus if you plan to use motherboard more than 4 years. I have deal with these brand for over than 15 years. Oh for stability I'd pick gigabyte. So far never disappoint me.

About laptop? Never ever by any circumstances. Buy Asus, in fact if you plan for gaming never buy any laptop. Laptop for gaming = waste of money.

Honestly I never recommend laptop as gaming platform to any of my customers.

    This is Asus laptop motherboard

See that heatsink screwhole holder? They soldered it to motherboard. I mean wtf!!

This is example of good laptop heatsink.. just look at screwhole holder, they put the screwhole holder to a metal plate below the cpu, not solder it!

So avoid asus at any cost.. pick another brand.. dell is good idea.

LOL I'd prefer building one rather then buying this.
While I could build a lot of it with that much of a money that it costs.

My main complaint about gigabyte motherboard is the WoL feature, since it does nit work. Well WoL is pretty much wonky on windows 10 anyways.

MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, and Intel are all good brands for motherboard.

Video Cards, I prefer ASUS, MSI, XFX, EVGA for nVidia and Sapphire for AMD.

If I can recall, MSI Laptop should have dedicated macro keys whereas ASUS Rog does not.

As for their trackpad, disabled it and get yourself a mouse.

You don't need WoL for ordinary or gaming pc.

Basically another useless feature that neither ordinary user nor gamer use. Like IRST, UEFi, Windows Defender, xxx fast.

It's a useless feature for you and normal users, however for me, it's a fantastic features since I use remote desktop a lot and I do not want to leave my pc on 24/7. remote desktop is actually used among gamers as well.

They are different features, but the relationship between the two are very close. The only reason to have WoL is to allow the computer to be off to save power, and have you turn it on remotely so you can access/control the computer remotely. For example, you can't expect an IT person to go around the whole building turning on each computer on to perform updates or whatever when it can be done remotely as well?

So yes, for the average person, WoL is a useless features. But for people who are in IT or Technology in general, it's also a handy features for personal use and don't want extra $$$ on electric bill leaving one or more PC on 24/7 while wanting access to our PC 24/7.
