the tab of nu or nuf whichever is open as long as internet is available, gets refresh periodically rather than having to manually do it, everytime we get alert, or even without it. period you can set according to coding conditions and requirements... but it cant be more than 2 mins...especially on nuf where lot many things change in 2 mins on nu it can be longer @Tony @OverlyFriendly @Westeller @Parth37955 @Shio
So you're talking about AJAX? Don't personally recommend it, for a few reasons but the main one being that you can't possibly be THAT lazy to not click f5 or the refresh button every few minutes. It takes a lot of server resources to create a periodic refresh though. Have you got an example of this in a smaller forum? EDIT: Don't forget how many people are constantly on the NU main page refreshing to see a new update. #f5sect
but the alert is already being auto-push, iirc. if you're on pc/mac, you can use plugin for your browsers. some browsers perhaps even have a built-in function for that example on mine (tab pin + auto-reload)
