Banned links in forum

Not sure if it is the correct section so please be kind.

Tried posting Discord and Hangouts links and received a warning about being banned, assaulted, scarred and bathed in salt. Didn't find the related part in rules so I'm asking here:

Post Discord, Hangouts or other SNS (such as Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Line, etc) is forbidden in NU forum?

Links in general are not allowed if you don't have a certain number of posts. Go read the FAQ

Sorry but I don't see anything regarding Discord links in the FAQ.
You may have not noticed but I posted more than 10 times already.

Well Tony's the owner of the site, and as long as you don't do anything that bad Tony won't bite you

And just use common sense on posting link, if you think that the link you're giving is against the rule or moral etc then just don't post it

Who ever mentioned break the rules lol? I just want to know them since could not find the specific verse before in the big book of rules.

Hmmm if you're not sure 'bout something just think like this "Will a normal and sane person do something like this?" That goes with links etc too

 

Common sense says Discord links should be allowed to be shared tho, is not like the application is full of terrorists or something. In fact, Discord is supposed to be more secure than Whatsapp and Skype.

 

Some Discord server are the place where epu.... I mean something something is being shared. Just pm it to the other people or make it your signature

 

Well, sometimes there are obscure rules, you shouldn't use that logic everywhere.
I too would not think that sharing your discord server here is illegal, but someone was probably mass advertising so they added it to rules.
If they don't ban you outright it's ok to just go around as normal and keep in mind that there indeed is that extra rule here.

I think putting it in your signature is as bad as sharing it in post, is it not?
