Isn't using pm and signature for discord count as "advertisement" since you are still endorsing discord irregardless? after all, PM/Signature is a feature of NUF and the rule says "..on NUF".
Is there any delimiting factors in regards to this rule? The rule is quite vague

 

PMs are private. You can do anything you want in there as long as all members are fine with it. Only if someone reports your message can it be seen by mod (I think? Not sure about this, maybe not even then.)

Well, if you're so inclined, you can try posting with an URL shortener? Say goo.gl for example. But if you got banned later on it's your own fault.

 

Discord removes traffic from NUF, Tony prefers if people use NUF to chat instead.

That's not to say he has anything against discord (he is in a few servers as well), he just prefers if people use NUF instead.

Signatures aren't allowed AFAIK, PMs are okay.

Mods don't have access to PMs, I think even Tony's adm account doesn't have access to it, he needs to look directly into the server's data to see PMs IIRC.

 

Understable but petty reason, forbid Discord in a game/asian community...

You can chat to people through threads or profiles.

And well, it's not a game community, it's a community to discuss novels.

You can always share discord links through PMs anyway.

I heard a mod saying that once, don't remember who or when though... Or maybe it was a random user... I think it was a mod though.
