To be fair, ML's conception itself was a blatant violation of his human rights, and if he did go back, he'd also have to deal with ML's mom. Mostly, he didn't know how to even face ML, and since at the time, he hated his whole family, so he decided to throw it all away. Their reunion was arranged by ML b/c he helped find the person ML's dad has been looking for all these years. It was a meeting where ML and MC both went to meet ML's dad and his lover. Their story is so sad, and it was gut wrenching to learn how their love ended in tragedy in MC's original life. I'm also really glad they got the happy ending they deserve~ I think ML always suspected, b/c his dad was super competent. He was a bit surprised, but accepted it quickly. ML's mom found out when ML kidnapped her and her accomplice for trying to kill MC. She went crazy and thought she was seeing a ghost.
ML basically left her punishment for his dad to do as he liked. ML left the room so what he does isn't shown. Her accomplice is a playboy 3rd son from a rich and powerful family. No one knew that they even knew each other until ML dug up a old photo of them kissing. Spoiler: More details on the accomplice He's actually MC's blood related uncle, MC's dad's younger brother. He's also the person ML's aunt has been in love with and chasing since she was a teenager. He basically strung her along for decades, making her waste her entire youth on him, but luckily she got over him before she could be used to harm ML (which was what happened in MC's first life). ML broke his legs after he tried to kill MC, and after MC's family found out, they made sure that he would never heal and arranged to keep him under house arrest for the rest of his life.
In MC's past life, after ML's dad died, his mom disappeared somewhere, and every other member of his close family was either scattered overseas or dead. Up to ML's ex-fiancee death, ML lived a solitary life with no loved ones. But in the last extra, we get a glimpse of what happened after in MC's original timeline. It's kind of bittersweet since all the tragedy and death happened, but ML and MC still found each other~

Yes, in both worlds, to both ML's dad and his lover. This is long and spoils a lot of things, but I really loved this extra. Spoiler: In which I summarize the final extra In the last few chapters of the main story, ML's ex-fiancee finally recognized MC b/c MC's real family became public knowledge. You find out from him that in his first life, MC was actually in a coma and discovered when ML fought against MC's fake family who had teamed up with this other family that's trying to destroy ML and his company. That family is also really terrible and were the cause of the death of ML's grandparents and later, also assassinated ML's dad. After MC was discovered and rescued by ML, MC's real family joined forces with ML to fight against the two evil families, and they eventually won. At that point, both ML and MC's families had suffered and lost a lot, and while it was a victory, compared to how things are in MC's 2nd life, things were very tragic. In the final extra, you find out what happens to MC after that. Turns out, MC didn't die from overwork, but was rather poisoned with neurotoxins and became brain dead. Around the same time, MC's mom had also fallen into coma from the schemes of an evil branch family, and the hospital equipped to deal with this had their hands full, so MC remained in the hospital that ML had arranged for him. For two years, MC's been in a vegetable state, and all the doctors have lost hope, but MC's family refuses to pull him off life support. During this time, it became ML's habit to visit and talk with him whenever he had free time. ML would feel calm when staying next to MC, and outside of MC's family, ML is MC's only and constant visitor. ML probably visited more than MC's family since he lives in the same city at least. Finally, MC's family decided that it might be better to move MC over to their city, thinking that maybe if MC was placed next to his also comatose mom, something might change for the both of them. ML feels very sad inside b/c now he can't easily visit MC anymore, but agrees b/c he doesn't have any excuse not to. However, during his 'final' visit where he tells MC that they won't get to meet for a while, MC miraculously opens his eyes. The doctors are all surprised at this miracle, but quickly realize that MC didn't fully recover. For one, MC only ever wakes up when ML is there. He neither speaks nor responds, only staring at ML as if ML is the only thing he can see. MC's family feel conflicted but still end up asking if ML is willing to help with MC's recovery. ML agrees and is inwardly really grateful for this chance b/c he now has a legitimate excuse to visit MC as often as he wants. MC's family is really thankful b/c ML's very busy (company president and head of a large family means a lot of duties) but still willing to help them. MC's recovery is slow and he remains responsive only to ML. The doctors think MC's brain has been damaged beyond repair by the neurotoxins, marveling over how MC's awake at all, and they can only take things as they come. MC and ML grow closer, and at first, MC only had the courage to hesitantly grab onto ML's pinky. He's still really afraid when ML leaves his sight, but slowly he worked up to holding ML's hand and answering ML's questions by nodding or shaking his head. ML learns to take care of MC and becomes the expert in interpreting MC's mood/thoughts since MC still hasn't started talking. During this, all of MC's medical issues and fear of hospitals get discovered, and the doctors agree that it'd be better for MC to heal in a more relaxing environment. MC's family is still dealing with the fallout and troubles of the evil branch family, so they're reluctant to bring a vulnerable MC to their city. Also, MC is still terrified of and ignores everyone except ML. So they decide that MC will go live with ML, and MC moves in. ML continues looking after MC and arranges for ways of improving MC's health, like using medicinal cooking since MC can't take pills. MC becomes more responsive (but still doesn't talk), and refuses to leave ML when his family comes to ask if he'd like to move back after they've dealt with the branch family issue. MC's dad and brother are both resigned and inwardly lamenting that if they had known MC would imprint on the first person he saw, they would have definitely stayed by his side 24/7. Months pass, and MC is slowly getting better while ML falls more and more in love. Their relationship is still very platonic, ML's feelings aside, though they sleep in the same bed every night (just cuddling though). Then, during one of their habitual walks, MC leads ML to a different spot than where they usually go. MC holds ML's hands, tip-toes up to give ML a soft kiss, and then says ML's name. This is the first word MC has said since waking up, and ML is choked up and so moved b/c he never thought he'd be able to hear MC's voice so soon. He knows that this is MC's unique way of confessing, and kisses MC back, carefully and gently. When they part, ML asks MC to marry him, and MC says yes. THE END Seriously, I loved this extra so much, b/c as broken as MC and ML are in this world, their paths still crossed, they still fell in love, and they still helped complete and heal each others' wounds. They're the definition of Meant To Be.

Actually, ML's mom's motivation is really twisted. Once she realized she'd never get ML's dad, she wanted to kill him b/c if she can't have him, then no one can. This is also the mindset she has towards her accomplice... Spoiler: To answer your spoiler I think it was a slow and gradual poisoning so they don't know when MC'd "die". No matter what, MC at the time was recognized as an illegitimate child of the family and also the main force behind their lucrative perfume business. MC also had colleagues, and MC "died" in the middle of work, so they were probably the ones who sent him to a hospital. Perhaps ML discovered MC because he went comatose (since a hospital is a lot less hidden than the lab he was confined in), but sadly, the exact details aren't given. Personally, I think that when MC rebirthed, his past self's soul crossed over to his original world. It might also be part of MC's brain being messed up by the neurotoxins, but after MC woke up, it didn't seem like he had any memories of past life or anything like that. The extra is entirely told from ML's pov, so unfortunately we never got a peak inside MC's mind.

Not explicitly, but his evil grandma hated him and since he already made them so much money, she probably thought it was time to get rid of him as he no longer had any more uses.

Well, he had already given them the perfume formulas so they can keep making money even w/o him. It wasn't mentioned specifically, but it's heavily implied. After all, you don't "accidentally" get poisoned by neurotoxins. I totally agree. I guess it was more of a background thing? Maybe using 'subplot' might have been a bit inaccurate. At first, the ex-fiancee thought the perfume formulas were some secret family heirloom and kept asking the guy he broke up with (the legitimate-line brother MC and ML saw kissing the ex-fiancee at the very beginning) to look for it. Obviously, that guy couldn't find anything, and this caused the ex-fiancee to lose the huge investment he made into this. It was one of the many reasons in which the ex-fiancee spiraled down into being crazy b/c none of his plans were working out like he thought they would.

The fake family and abusive grandma during their wedding (which was at their house), but other than that, only ML's mom. When MC's identity as a perfume maker became public, the evil grandma was already in prison and her reaction isn't shown. I think ML's mom yelled about things before she was officially kicked out. IIRC, she was slandering ML for being unfilial and treating her terribly and how MC was a horrible person for driving her out of the house, and was basically playing the pity card with lies. Since this was broadcasted on TV and she also did interviews, people online started discussing ML for being terrible b/c they believed ML's mom's side of the story. ML's a pretty important person, so it's like celebrity gossip, and that can easily get out of hand. MC's online antics are hilarious~ He created an account w/ a handle that was "IAmMengTing1111" or something similar (don't quote me on the exact name since I didn't double check w/ the raws, but the general idea is there). He then went and posted comments along the lines of, "ML is great" and "ML is really great". Then people were like, other than 'great' is he anything else /sarcasm, and MC was like, "He's also very handsome" lol. Basically, MC's vocab and debate skills are terribly lacking, but he tries his best! Eventually ML discovered him "arguing" w/ people on the internet, and distracted him to stop. MC never hid his identity online, but obviously a lot of people doubted his claims. Later, I think ML's company or someone official mentioned him in a post so his account was confirmed to be real and he gained a lot of followers. The internet kind of exploded and people dug up his old posts and everything.

I don't remember all the specifics, but one of the things she did was try and kill MC's pets. She also teamed up w/ the evil grandma and said a whole bunch of terrible things to MC's face, and trying to harm MC is ML's taboo so he ordered the guards not to let her into the house anymore.
