Best/Most Hated Antagonist

    I'm purposely using the word antagonist instead of villain, cos a lot of the MCs in the novels are pretty much villain's themselves. Slaughtering, raping, blackmailing, NTRing etc etc. Most of the antagonists in the novels, especially in xianxia, usually just exist as sacrificial animals for the MCs. They are just arrogant and privileged skirtchasers, who just seem to desire what belongs to the MC(the MCs treasures and girls). And they get crushed quickly and easily, just to get replaced by another similar villain. Very few antagonist's who are final boss material. So...which antagonists do you guys feel are like Final Bosses? Or hate really badly, yet have a certain level of respect towards?

    In my case it would be Shi Yi from Perfect world and Lu Buwei's first strategist (novel-Step into the past) who got killed by the MC. Shi Yi is so young, yet I really hate him. And you definitely can't say he's a pussy. And in the other novel, the strategist almost killed the MC using his brains, the MC was just lucky to escape.

    The Ji clan head in ISSTH does have potential, but not much is known about him.Chief Fate Sovereign in CD was seemingly a final boss, but he got owned badly. No other decent antagonist comes to my mind right now.

    So..who's the best and/or most hated villain to you guys?

    Hmm...I hate DTL from PMG but that's mostly cause he's a arrogant cockroach. Villians do tend to be sacrifical steps for xianxia MC's...I guess I'd go with the Church from CD cause they took Linley's mom away just to obtain more power.

    the worst antagonist of all times: language barrier... from times immemorial dedicates itself to obstruct enjoyment for people who can't read/speak/understand other languages... damn you language barrier!!!

    for me the "best" villain is the big boss in tokusatsu series aka kamen rider or tokusatsu
    he have lot of strong subordinate facing 1strong MC yet he sent them one by one (yes only one) to get killed by our Heroes
    Me : Why don't u send all of them to kill the MC?

    Most hated antagonist? Either Rachel from Tower of God or Malty (Bitch) from Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari.

    I think I'd say I hate Bitchy/Whore from Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari the most. With Rachel, she was annoying, but she didn't think that what she did was wrong. Bitch on the other hand, fully aware that she was doing evil, yet persist on doing it while manipulating everyone so that she look like the good guy. Bitch is the single novel character that I will definitely strangle to death if I can reach her.
