i have problems with my phone. a samsung s3 mini. the battery is bad. keeps restarting even though i fully charged it. so i'm stuck to the socket when i use my phone. i also accidently cracked the screen. cost 40/50 buck to fix the cracks. so better off buying a new one for 100-250. any other samsung user? pro and con of your phone?

My note 4 is quite good, But for me i guess Note series is the best. The screen is bigger, can't stand smaller screen. battery is bigger and swappable. Unfortunately the latest one no longer has removable battery. And S-pen for quick note taking. btw I hate my old s3 mini.P

I'm using note 4 right now and I'm very satisfied with it. And I agree with everything with what readordie said except the bigger screen thing. If bigger screens are your thing just get a tablet o_O

I liked my galaxy s5, battery efficiency wasnt great but also didnt die super fast unless i played 3d games extensively, didnt have any real problems with it until it suddenly wouldn't turn on about 2 years after purchase.

Edit: oh, right, i had two different galaxy s3's with 3 different batteries that would quickly heat up even with no extra programs running, it became scalding hot and would get even worse with a game or other app active, don't recommend getting one.

For that budget I would say you shoul be able to get a S4, maybe a S5, but you should look into other brand if you are on a budget. It's better to look around instead of staying in a small part of the market and paying x-amount of money when you could have spent a bit more or a bit less for something better from another brand.

100 % agree with you, there are a lot of small brands like Blu,Oneplus,Moto who have some really good budget phones, but people aren't willing to research the phones. They just wan't a specific brand.

my s3 was fine until few months ago. two years since purchase too.

um...is that dollar or euro? i think the price are different in different countries. i'm in ireland. i'm not looking for the latest model, but i can afford a few old samsung model since their price dropped since they came out.
i'm fine with a different brand as long as it is android.

S7 edge is the best!!! I treat my 6s as a piece of crap.
(If not for the better plan i would've never chosen an iPhone )
