Heya! FS here! Please discuss Black Clover's LATEST CHAPTER in this thread. No it's not Discussion. It's Latest Chapter discussion so please be aware you will get spoiled The story of Black Clover is great. Kinda reminds me of Naruto (yes. Naruto again. Please blame kishi for this) with One Piece hint every now and then. Naruto because it's two boys aiming for the same position with one of them, Aster, being shut down all the time because he has no Mana (in a world that lives off of mana, he's pretty much a xianxia MC that the world refuses to acknowledge) and the other, Juno (the MC's BFFFFF and rival. why does this sound so familiar? oh right nar-), being the cream of the crop with a four leaf clover as a sign of how great he will be. So yea Juno gives me the you-might-become-a-sasuke feel while Aster is like Naruto incarnate with his beliefs and principles and all. One Piece cause everyone seems to end up friends along the way. And the bad guys dont need to die to be defeated. Storywise I think it's really good. Though sometimes the "lines" that the characters spout are too cheesy like can't you say that in a less cheesier way? *shakes head* i dont know if that's the translation or if that's really the best you can translate the words/sentences as but it's not too much of a bother though it does make me cringe every now and then. Characters are still developing I think. Err MC is the common oblivious to romance i guess. He does seem to appreciate girls but he's a muscle head so what do you expect? Bishies? Check Babes? check Great teachers/team leaders? Check~ I like the Black Bull's leader Yami~ Anyway please give it a read to those who still aren't reading it.

i hope this will go on for at least 250-300 chapters it has potential imo i like it very much, and also wonder if the guy will has mana at the end like his mana was sealed, but at a special point of the story that seal will be unlocked
im hoping it would at least get to 300+ chapters before ending ... i kinda feel it will end soon though now that licht has shown himself ... he's weak though not exactly what i was expecting ... it's good twist since i was expecting he and yami would tie it out then he'd leave then we'd go through the daily life arc or training arc to get better or something... he was beaten in one chapter though it did take at least yami and gauche to put him down. I'm thinking he, aster, might be someone who can gather the mana from the outside...so basically he has no mana inside him cause the world's mana is his to utilize. He just doesnt know it yet. That or he's ability is to *absorb* mana and magic alike but the way to utilize them is still unknown to him at this point in time.
I love the guys determination but I'm always wondering how is he going to become the magic emporer when he has no magic whatsoever. Mystery to be solved in the future. Side note: it's cute how he loves the sister from the orphanage.
well bear in mind we now know how strong the captains relative to the protag which is never good as we now have a clear level of power. to compare it to naruto like everyone else has done remeber how in the begginning kakashi could deal with naruto sasuke and sakura all with one hand? that was their difference and we knew he was holding back quite a lot
What I hope for the mc: He become taller He shut is mouth for a bit Don't become a jesus... ----------------------

I like black clover. Been reading it since chapter 1 came out Have you not read the first chapter? Spoiler the MC is hated by the mana and picks up the evil tome of 5 clovers. The last person to have his tome was the demon king.
Yeah but we didn't get /too/ much character development from the guy, he still looks like a spokon protagonist
we've got a rough power level now of everyone. a good antagonist as well as a hint for the mystery of the MC. these factors scream to me finishing in the next arc or two
To say a story will end some conditions should be met the most important one all mysteries shall be answered we still dont know about this world how much countries there are will there be a war. The secret of astre grimory why yune was abandoned althought he has high magic power the boss of black sheeps is a japnese which there may be other peaple spirited or summoned to this world the idendity and real power of the captains other knight members this a story with a lot of pieces a large board that s why i assume this story will be long and i can even expect an anime in the future this manga have great potentiel;-)
