I was wondering... There must be a game that you used to play when you are still young (not like we're old now right?)

Share us your experience and what you missed today?

    For me,
My real childhood games are marbles, monopoly and bicycle...
And electronic games I missed are crash bandicoot and pepsiman.. Ah, also the earlier series of mortal combat..

    What's your old time favorite?

Used to play make-believe with my siblings 'cause I never liked toys. I can play make-believe here too, kinda, hahah

I was already playing soccer/football at a club when I was like 8 or something so I guess that's my 'non-electronic'.
Electronic, anything on PS1 between 97-00 really, especially Final Fantasy 7/8/9 and a bunch of platformers like crash/spyro/croc/ape escape. First Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo 1&2. I could probably go on for ages.

First one was the best by so much. After that I think they got sucked a little into the notion that if you're targeting a slightly younger audience it should be a little easier. Even if I was only a kid the second one was easy to 100% but the first one actually had some decent difficulty scaling. I think quite a few games/series did this. The first Croc was hard when I was young but the second one was a cakewalk.

I still play crash bandicoot 3 sometimes from my ps3 when i'm bored. Pretty much only do relic runs of Tomb Time though I have a love/hate relationship with that level.

I was starting to feel silly at how simple games like that have so much charm than the new games lately...

My ps3 is pretty much a glorified ps1 emulator, just filled with ps1 titles :p
Another schoolyard favourite of mine was red rover, although we pretty much played a variant of british bulldogs. Always got told off lol.

Hopscotch, jump rope and kabaddi which my neighbour taught me. So fun. If you don't know what kabaddi is, it's the game that yamazaki played in gintama. Aside from badminton. Hahaha
I used to have this black sega console that played game tapes, there's this game called golden axe. That and sonic are my fav.

Sometimes is better to be simple getting a headache over trying to figure out the rules can take a lot of fun out of a game .

I had a terrible monopoly experience as a child. I went to a holiday place with the extended family which naturally included many cousins. We were all quite young but ended up playing monopoly on the first friday night we got there. After landing on god knows what I had to mortgage a couple of properties to the glee of my 5 or 6 other cousins that were playing. I was immediately branded the 'mortgage man', a name I couldn't shake until we all left on the sunday evening. Horrible memories.
