You need to get the CN readers updated with RoyalRoad. Would be funny to get their view on our take of Asian novels especially something like N1UH or re:hamster

N1UH is just pure cliche op but somehow it comes off quite well and re:hamster is just real weird imo

 

You know what I find weird about N1UH. Its a lot like Xianxia novels but it does not have as much fillers as Chinese novels since its a English original novel. Like take a second and imagine if N1UH had a lot of words and fillers then think about Current popular Xianxia novels.

i died. maybe the rest before was the setup but once i saw this, i was blinded by tears of laughter.

i'm not certain but i think NTR (although i might be wrong) along with what seems like a bunch of other letter combinations are chinese slang insults, and ones bad enough that chinese chat censors will censor them even if they are part of a word. i know because of how much i've run into them from playing their english versions of their trash MMO's. some of the things that get censored in the chat box make absolutely no sense and often make it hard as hell to get a thought across. (i don't get why the chinese censorship is still in the english chat but hey, shortcuts save money i guess)

A lot of Wuxia/Xianxia yaoi/danmei novels are like that(well they are usually not that long). For me those are usually the best ones out there. There are some good wuxia/xianxia danmei novels that I think would be better if the author just deletes the romance part because it's so badly written....(I am fujoshi)

 

Do you guys want TKA smuts? There are plenty..

 

I'm aware of LMW but nothing else in that genre for CN novels.

 

Yeah those are in the yaoi part of the Chinese webnovels which is really a different world than wuxia/xianxia....so most are ignored by translators(and most of them are not 1000+ long, leveling up slapping face killing clans OP stuff so perhaps straight males won't like them anyway

I'm more surprised that they even knew what "NTR" was. Hell, I didn't even know till I came to Novelupdates forum and saw that phrase everywhere...

Why am I not surprised that TKA has plenty of smut fanfic? Also, what's the most common ship? Ye Xiu and Su Mucheng? Actually, maybe Ye Xiu and Glory. Ye Xie ain't got no time for Su Mucheng when he has his sexy umbrella.

WAT?? What are you talking about, this is China and we are talking about TKA...why would you expect a NON-BL shipping to be popular and have smuts.....it's huge on the fujoshi market...that's why it's so much popular than other wuxia/xuanhuan novels....
I just started reading the novel and deliberately stayed away from all TKA fanfics....so I don't know what CPs are the most popular, but I rememer seeing many Su Muqiu(they call the seme 'umbrella' and I assume it's nickname for Su Muqiu) x Ye Xiu, someone x Zhang Jiale(double flower?), Gao Yingjie x Qiao Yifan....
