Cleaning up tags on NU

Sightseeing
Pretty much reserved for Death March and some other novel.

And it's probably not the focus? Has anyone read it and wants a say?

daaaaamn, seems like such a useless tag because we cant see the shit

 

I think instead of sightseeing,we can just have a Journey tag(if it is not already there)..unless sightseeing refers to the type of journey where the focus is not on growing stronger/reaching a goal..it seems more like a leisurely one,where they roam about without a goal/for getting stronger...which might need a different tag when compared to just journey. Like,one tag for serious journey and another for a more leisure one~

I think by beast girls,they mean female characters who have animal body parts.Like neko ears,cute wings maybe..or some kind of fluffy tail.I might be wrong,but I thin if someone wants to scrap this,then we need to get it linked with the http://www.novelupdates.com/stag/animal-characteristics/ Animal Characteristics tag..they are pretty similar,and more often than not the animal characteristics is there for a female character.

 

Idk if this has been already mentioned,but I would like to talk about two tags: Young male Lead and Child Protagonist.
Firtly,most series have a young male lead,not a 100 year old gramps~~ So I think an Old Male Lead will make more sense.Because the Young Male Lead is not referring to a kid protag,because we already have a Child protagonist. So,I feel that the YML tag can be...kinda scrapped?

 

Yes there is a clear cut difference between 2 two

Animal Characteristics - only few animal parts (Usually just the tails and ears)
Beastkin - More in line with the animal they are suppose to represent (Usually they have hair all over their body)

 

As we are changing the tags to gender neutral we will get around to that topic. As of right now I am on break since I just finished the Strong tag, so we will discuss that in due time.

 

I think you misread. I was referring to the Beast girl's tag,not the beastkin tag. The best girl's tag was quoted by @NZPIEFACE

Once again,Idek if this has been mentioned.This is a one off tag; The Disney tag. It exists. There are only two series under this,and both of them are no longer available on the internet.They are inter related. The TL site now is a commercial site for something else,meaning that the TL is inactive for now.The releases have been way back in 2010-11,and I believe that any new TL who might have a Disney tag attached to their project will think twice because of recent legal copyright issues that are sprouting up more these days. I feel that this should not be a tag anymore.

The novels listed under this tag was Kingdom Hearts, so you are right we don't need Disney. It's more suited to the "Crossover" tag.

 

yes that one. I feel that creating an entire official tag for a single series,which is no longer around is...not the best of policies.

Well...... You could have edited it yourself. Every user has the privilege to create or remove tag from series.
